Remarks

The main focus of my college was on the pass percentage and maintaining strict rules for the students to not talk with other gender students.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum was Anna University's. The college taught us how to answer the questions, not the industry knowledge. It was always around the book. There were hardly 2 companies that came for campus placement. Industrial visit was just a tour to banglore as part of which we visited a TCS company and attended a lecture for 2hours.

Placement Experience

3

Only 2 IT companies have visited for campus. None of the product based companies visited. We were given special training on clearing aptitude exams and HR rounds. Only 20% of the students were placed in my batch through campus. Rest of them have attended offcampus interviews of their own.

College Events

0.5

The only celebration we had was the College day, which happens once in a year. Apart from that we had symposium, which students considered as a chance of celebration. There were no cultural/ technical celebrations. Our college usually sticks with education. There was no big celebration or fun.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible. We were allowed to pay only through DD. Other mode of payments where not accepted. I was not any extra fee as I was admitted through anna university. If the admission is not through merit then to secure admission donation has to be paid. The amount depends on the department. Apart from the anna university college fee, we had to pay bus fee and book fee. All of these will sum up around 60k to 80k per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was scholarship for students who scored high marks. Scholarship was based entirely on marks. I am not very sure about the amount.

Campus Life

2

40 % male and 60% female was the gender ratio. There was no campus life. Students cannot strictly stay in college premise after the college time. Students were strictly prohibited from talking to other gender students or staff. There were different staircase for each gender. There was no cultural or religious celebration. We were not even allowed to celebrate birthdays.

Alumni/Alumna

There is no actual Alumni network. Alumnis will be called only before campus placement training. This never had any effect.

Admission

I was admitted to this college as part of anna university admission process. Choosing the course was not my decision, it was my parent's. I chose this college as it was close to my living place and it offer a better education at a lower price compared to other colleges.

Faculty

2.5

We had 6 lecturers for each sem. Most of them were below 30 years of age, only the department HODs where the experienced lecturers. There was only one lecturer in the whole college who had the passion for teaching and explained the concepts with real time examples. All other lecturers were very much interested in finishing the syllabus. Nope, none of the lecturers hold Industry experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum behind or campus is very much updated and it is changing as the technology changes. As the present world is engaging with computer and artificial intelligence,I want to improve more knowledge and also want to compete with others. The time table and the devlopment technology followed by our university is devoloped so that only placement are recorded with high percentage when compared to other. The improvement should be observed only regarding labs.We have write examination for every 30 or 40 days , because there are 3 internal test ,semester and lab exams.Actually time is not sufficient but we have to do hardwork.when compared to other universities or colleges our exams arebwry hard.
