Remarks

It is not so good nor it is so bad. A place where you can study, with interest.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Everything is based on Anna university norms. We follow the same as the whole other colleges in state follow, the Anna university. There were industrial visit arranged by the college in relevant to my course and it was really useful for us to know about the factories at that time.

Placement Experience

3.5

Yes CSS CORP, Mahindra, and companies not less than ten came for the placement drive. All students who had cleared and have no arrears attended the placements and there were preparations a week before the actual the day.

College Events

4

Every year the final year students of respective departments conducts the Symposium of their choice. It is state or national level and other college students participate and Win exciting prices. The department chooses a president and under his leadership the symposium will happen. We are allowed to participate in other college symposiums also on prior notice.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For me since I was in management quota it costed around eight thousand per year and for government quota it is around ten to twenty thousand only per year. There were additional fees charged around ten thousand per semester and there were no transparency in feebreakdown.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I haven’t opted for scholarships or educational loans. But people who have taken have said its of ease process.

Campus Life

4

The gender ratio totally depends on the department. In mechanical there were ninety eight percent boys and two percent girls and in our department seventy percent girls and thirty percent boys. The culture of the college is really good and discipline is well maintained.

Alumni/Alumna

Being a part of alumni yes they guide us and help us whenever they need help and we’ll also be in touch with Them. We are a family now.

Admission

I got it through management quota and interview based. I was referred to this college by my friend and we both took the interview and got the admission. I was called in before my actual counselling date, this is also Anna affiliated and it is located in the heart of the city.

Faculty

4.5

There were like twenty to thirty lectures in each department and that relevant facilities would take class for all. They are mostly doctorates and are around twenty eight to forty in age. They are all experts in their own departments and they all helped us really well.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Placement Experience:

Chennai Institute of Technology is an instituition that truly prioritizes student career growth . The placement cell is exceptionallu well-organized ,consistently connecting students with reputed companies across various industries. What makes CIT stood out is the quality of its training staff. They focus heavily on communication , technical knowledge and competitive preparation ,align students with what top companies expect ,and contiuosly push us to improve and meet industry standards. Their structured training helped me to clearly identify my strengths and work on my weak areas, which made a huge difference during interviews and boosted my overall confidence. The department faculty are equally commnedable ,knowledgable ,approachable and genuinely invested in student career. Overall CIT is an excellent choice for anyone focused on building a strong and sucessful career
