Remarks
College management is full of money hungry people. No care about the plights of students as mostly 95% of the core branch students does not het placed since almost zero (especially mechanical) core companies visit the college for campus placements.
Course Curriculum Overview
No technology approach. Syllabus given by the university is outdated and does not provide the hands on training for solving the industrial problems. Exam preparation can be done easily by referring to the question bank famously known as "shivani". Examination pattern is- 2 midsem, 1 pre university test, final semester exams.
Placement Experience
Near to zero campus placement for Core branches ( mechanical, civil, electrical). Although software companies ( only service based, not product based) will come for recruitment for computer Science, IT, EC students.
College Events
Technical and cultural festivals are very joyfull We enjoy alot during holi and diwali celebrations. DJ night also happens once a year. Frequent visits( 2 to 3 times a year) by local city Radio jockeys also happens. Garba night is also organised once a year during navratri times.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Expensive Mode of payment through cheques and upi College does not provide any transparency in fee breakdown. You can pay half fees in 1st semester and the later half in 2nd semester for the respective year. The authority will not forward your examination form if your dues are not cleared which can result in ending up to not allowing you to write the exam.
Fees and Financial Aid
I was selected as Tution fee waiver student. So i had to pay 10,000 INR only for one year. But there are options for OBC, SC, ST students for filling up various state government and central government scholarship form which can benefit then nearly >50% of their college fees.
Campus Life
Clubs are a myth here, don't expect too much from them. Labs are there but core mechanical labs lacks the hands on approach. In core branches you can observe 8 to 10 girls among 180 students and in other branches 40% are girls. At our times, student politics was about to start. So can't say much about it. Economic status- most of the students are from upper middle class to upper class. You will hardly find any international student.
Hostel Facilities
No. But i had heard from friends that there are hostels managed by the 3rd parties which are usually 2 to 3kms far from the college. So, transportation cost increases. Since, the college is tar away from the main city then it can result in a hurdle sometimes for reaching the college and expensive too if you are living in other part of the town.
Alumni/Alumna
Never get a chance to interact with seniors. They will show their face at the time of freshers party, farewell party or may be at the time when they are been instructed by the faculty to perform an activity or something.
Admission
I got the admission through counselling Filling up the counselling form through mponline then going for verification at the verification centre set up by the government. Waiting for the results of counselling. Then reporting to the college for admission if you get it in your result. There is management quota option also available.
Faculty
Some teachers are very helpful they give their best to the students and other are just doing their earnings. Most of them are not trained for providing technical education, lacking of problem solving approach in educators. Most of them teaches just for passing the University exam. Teaching related to skill building is not there.
