Our batch 2008 -2012 was awesome. All are well placed or started there own business. Now, placement situation is bad in this college as per the talks with my juniors.
Entrance Preview
I got this through UPTU. In UPTU, in 2008, it was a nice college. I had choice to move to Bangalore but being this college is in my native and also the cost of education was less, I have chosen this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I took B.tech in Computer Science. The Course curriculum of UPTU is good. Cover a variety of topics and also in my current job, They are being asked in interviews. So, if a student studies well on his own he can get good opportunities in future.
Internships Opportunities
You have to search on our own. They will not provide you internship.Stipend was zero, It depends on you and your contacts if you get any. I just took a course from a private institute as a internship.
Placement Experience
Yeah, It was good for our batch. But now the situation is not as good. The rank holders of uptu, who have more ranks are now coming to the college.So, the college is not a preference list of good rank holders
College Events
Yeah they were good. Arrange 2 major events every years. One is Technical event, which have robo, cs and few technical activities second is cultural event, whcih have dances, and indian cultural activities
Fee Structure And Facilities
According to that time, it was fairly feasible. Not now, the fees structure is increased, but yeah, i think, now also the fees structure is comparability low then the other colleges. But, they have high fines and high hostel fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, But yeah UP govt have a good scheme for OBC, SC and ST students. I saw students getting 70 thousand - 80 thousand for ST scholarship. But Being general, i got 0 rs.
Campus Life
Gender ratio good. 40:60 = girls : boys. Hostel parties and other parties were really a fun.No gender and no race discrimination. Political status and Economic status of college was good. College use to get good awards.There were no such ethnicity groups.
Hostel Facilities
Never attended hostel but went there few times, ambiance was pathetic. Dirty walls, cracks and moisture in walls.
Alumni/Alumna
Yeah, alumni group is strong, but distributed. Means there is no such official communication bond between seniors and current students. But yeah, people are connected over Facebook and other social networking sites. No alumni parties.
Exam Structure
It was cool. Yeah, Labs were not that hectic. you can enjoy your day after 4 pm.But yeah, short attendance will force u to loose some money from your pocket.
Faculty
Faculties were ok. Not that good. Epecially the new faculties are recent college passouts. They also didn't now much. But few were really good. It was a mix of both, good and bad.
