I am really Proud to be a Saffronite

1st Ranked GTU college, giving platform and technical as well as full financial support for multiple national/international level competitions. One of the very very few colleges which are student-oriented and always thinking of 5-10 levels higher for student and faculty development. In my 4 years of engineering, I've had the most amazing growth from going from an above-average student in 12th to a Gold Medalist in the entire Gujarat thanks to this institute! & even right now I am pursuing my ME from none other than the same - Saffrony Institute of Technology. My college is GTU affiliated and AICTE approved. The curriculum, therefore, is the one laid by GTU and when the many students of our college become toppers, they become toppers among all the 20-30 thousand students in Gujarat from GTU.

Saffrony not only completes 100% GTU syllabus but organizes workshops by industry and university experts to take students 10 levels higher than the syllabus (Learning by Doing). Our faculty members are super helpful and whatever they do, they do it with all their heart! and their brains too of course! They're all really well educated, all of them having a Masters Degree and being specialized in the various subjects that our curriculum consists of. They're so committed to their role as a professor that they're always available. Talking from my very own personal experience and also from a lot of other students', during final exams when we're super stressed, they have solved our doubts even at midnight and once when we were shortlisted in India's Top 35 at the Mitsubishi Electric Cup and were packing to go to Delhi, we were so late that we would've missed our train. Our faculties came home to help us pack the equipment and everything. I mean where will you find such awesome faculty members.

Thanks to our Top Performance and Rankings in the National / International Level Competitions we have many premier companies coming on the campus including the Indian Navy and thanks to the professional Skill Development Workshops, Saffronites are able to earn these awesome jobs! Since 2018 we've been scoring 100% placement in all the branches. How cool is that? They kept their word when they said they'll make us employable engineers.

College Fees per year: Rs. 74000 College is not asking for any kind of donation fees. Scholarships are very much student-friendly based on merit rank, not required any kind of extra documents like income certificate or caste certificate. The criteria is as follows: 1 to 15000 Merit Rank - 100 % Scholarship 15000 to 20000 - 50 % Scholarship 20000 to 25000 - 25% scholarship For every student who wants admission in Automobile, EC and Electrical branch they will get a 50% scholarship. Trust me scholarships are guaranteed and it is valid for all 4 years just you have to fulfil just two conditions (i.e. 1. 75% attendance is required and your SPI should be more than 6.5). In fact, even to appear for the company placements more than 7 SPI is preferable. I mean anyways we have to score 6.5 SPI.

It depends on everyone's view, in my view I found campus life as corporate life. In terms of discipline, professionalism, counselling system, technical events, clubs, volunteering at National Level Seminars and Conclaves etc. And ya the greenery and infrastructure at Saffrony are also unparalleled. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy - the very apt saying which Saffrony Institute follows to the letter. We celebrate a range of Technical as well as Non-Technical Events that make the 4 years of our engineering life thoroughly happening. These events include - Engineer's Day, Teacher's Day, Project Exhibitions, Udaan - The sports fest, Fusion - The Cultural fest, Women's Day and so many more! I was not a hostelite but I am aware of the hostel due to my friends staying there. Also for some team project purpose, I have experienced several days at the hostel. They have bounced around many hostels and always claim that Saffrony's is the most well kept hostel so far and at the best price one can get. Two best features of the Saffrony's hostel are 1. The rooms has attached washrooms so students don't have to use a common area for everyone! Second, apart from the food and furniture facilities, the hostel has even hired help to clean the rooms so students don't have to worry about that either.
