Course Curriculum Overview
In the first year of the course deals with the basics like the history, writing, and theory. It includes Fundamentals of Communication Skills, Editing theory, English Literature, and many more. The second year of the course deals with subjects like Radio Broadcasting theory, Photojournalism practical theory, etc. So the second year deals with some practical knowledge about the course along with the theory. The third-year deals with all the specialization of the course.
Placement Experience
The placement wing of the university provides a competitive environment for us which in return helps us to improve our technical skills. They have made many efforts for the benefit of the students which are commendable. Many companies are associated with the university. The few names are as follows Hindustan Unilever Limited, Reliance, Honda, TATA Consultancy Services, HDFC, and many more.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for the course is very feasible. The annual fee for the course is Rs.30, 000 only. With the facilities that the university provides the fees are comparatively less. The total fee for the whole course comes to Rs.90, 000 i.e. is for 3 years.
Campus Life
The university has set up a special committee for the extracurricular activities. The sports and cultural committee organizes various events from time to time from us. These events take place within the college itself. The list of the various events which are organized by the cultural committee are Dance, Debate competition, Cultural activates, etc.
Admission
Once I was done with my 12th-grade exams I applied for the course at the University for the SNET form. SNET is the entrance exam test which the university conducts for the admission in the course. The admission is granted to the basis of the results of this test.
Faculty
The faculty who works at university is well experienced and qualified in the field of teaching as well as in journalism. Few of the faculties are practicing on field journalism and they give us information about the practical world of journalism. Each faculty is available to assist us at the point of the day with our doubts and for a better understanding of the subjects.
