Course Curriculum Overview
In government arts college the course curriculum of MSc chemistry includes the study of Synthesis of bioactive heterocycles, phytochemistry, green chemistry, coordination complexes, organic materials, electrochemical corrosion, and many more.
Placement Experience
The college organizes Job fairs for the final year students. As I've just started my MSc, I'm yet to explore the placement side of my course. Probably I'll be pursuing a Ph.D. after completing my MSc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees for M.Sc. Chemistry is around 2000. Since it's a government college, the admission is given on merit basis and the fees is quite pocket friendly as compared to other colleges. Also, the teachers are good and the infrastructure is really amazing.
Campus Life
I'm a member of the Red Ribbon Club of the College. Through this club, we spread awareness about HIV Aids. We regularly participate in various public rallies and attend camps. Regular programs are organized regarding health and hygiene awareness.
Admission
I took PCM in my 12th class and after scoring 95% in the exams I took admission in BSc chemistry in the Government Arts College. After completing 3 years of bachelor's course here I applied for the Master's as well in this college only and got admission on a merit basis.
Faculty
The faculty members are very supportive and encouraging. They are highly qualified professionals with MSc, MPhil, and Ph.D. degrees. They make studies more interesting and the classroom environment more healthy and interactive.
