Course Curriculum Overview
The course has both practical and research work in it. The course curriculum also focuses on, body massage, physical exercise, and repetition of lessons learned. In the first two semesters the research papers from the integrated Ph.D. programs are the course work. There are also various internal assessments given to us.
Placement Experience
The placement wing of Kalamandalm has opened a big door of opportunities for jobs and internships for the students pursuing graduation at the institute. With this they help the students with a source of income for themselves and support their family. The stipend can be of Rs.1 Lakh or more.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees for the two years is only Rs.4, 800 which is very affordable for any student applying for the course in the institute. The yearly fees is Rs.2, 400 for each year. The other fees and the tuition fees for both the years is Rs.1, 200 respectively.
Campus Life
Kalamandalm has a huge library with over 50,000 books on theater, dance, music, Indian history, and many more subjects. It is a very different library and not as one of the normal libraries. Various big names come to institute come to teach us on performing arts. Some of them are alumni of the institute.
Admission
The admission for the Ph.D. course which I was applying for had an entrance exam which the institute would conduct. The entrance exam would be of 75 marks out of which 25 marks would be for the interview and the rest 50 marks would be a written exam. And the student also has a master’s degree.
Faculty
Learning wouldn’t be as much fun and understandable if these were not the teachers. They prove to be the faculty which any institute could have. They always tell and motivate us to be the best and give our best each time.
