PMB Gujrati Samaj:- low fees and direct admission

The management staff is not that good as students are sent from one window to another for resolution of their queries

Bcom plain is a very basic course covering basics of direct tax, language, maths, accountancy, corporate law etc. The curriculum by DAVV does not provide industry specific knowledge but is helpful for low level jobs, it helps a student to get through the campus placement but the package offered is not that good. There were no industrial visits.

The placements are really very bad from the college as students often get placed for around 10k pm also most of the students don't sit in the placements. However whoever is interested are given a review of what is expected from them also as I have mentioned that since most students are CA, CS background they continue their course and sin in placements from those institute.

All the festival are celebrated in the college and there is a sports meet along with cultural fest that occours somewhat on a big scale, in sports and cultural fest mostly students participate in some sports or dance singing etc.This fest is held every year by the college.

The program fees was around 6500pa for general category students during my time and is more or less similar right now, payments are accepted in:- 1) cash 2) cheque 3) Demand draft 4) any electronic mode There is no additional fees payable to secure admission just required to pay college fees Yes breakdown of fees is available which mostly consist of tution fees and sports fees.

Students with gujrati origin are offered are offered 50%scholarship and students who scored more than 90% in 12th are given 50% scholorship from the institution.

Gender ration is 70:30 for bogs and girls, annualy cultural fest Is organised by the college, there are no such curltural societies made as everything is organised by the college. Mostly students are from Madhya Pradesh only who are either pursuing any other certification course like CA, CS etc or are from lower income groups as placements are at max for Rs 300000 pa. There are no such barriers in relation to ethnicity, race, or economic status, every person passing 12th can take admission in the college.

There are no college hostels available but nearby to the college there are many private hostels and rooms available at around 3000 pm along with food facilities for which additional charges are to be paid.

There is no such network maintained by the college. I being an alumni know that there are no such network. Also most of the students pursuing CA are suggested by seniors to take admission in this college as the college co-operate with students.

Since I am pursuing chartered accountancy course which is a certification and not a degree so I opted for basic bcom-plain so that I can concentrate on CA curriculum. Factors that lead to opting this institution:- 1) direct admission 2) lower fees 3) timimgs:- college ends by 10.30am giving time to atteny internship and ca studies. 4) close to my residence In this college we can get direct admission by submitting documents including 12th marksheet

Around 100 lectures are there in the course the average age of students is between 18-20 and qualiiare high school passout. A student has to work as an intern in his area of interest and submit a report on his experience. The faculty are capable enough to get through the subject and are available for doubt solving. The lectures are helpful for student to get jobs in industry in accountancy field and taxation since it does cover basics relevemt for industry.
