The best part is that the food provided by the college. The food is good in taste and quality. The thing I didn't like is that at any moment to any one mobile phones are not allowed
Course Curriculum Overview
The college is affiliated to Anna University and all the courses and syllabus are given by them. They are very helpful in learning and research. Yes the curriculum groomed to provide industry specific knowledge. per semester we have two industrial visits and for year totally four industrial visits. The industrial visits are subject based and curriculum based.
Placement Experience
They provide best placement offers and they have the CoE(Center of Excellence) for each department and each part. The students can be part of them and they are given with additional opportunities and trainings. They give number of placement trainings and programs to develop the skills
College Events
Symposium, annual day, sports day, inauguration day. For every event we have number ofevents taking place and for each event we have specific prizes. While simples image the students have to organise for other college students. the other college students will take part in the symposium and they will take part in the events organised by our students and they will win the prizes which are provided by the management. While in the other events,the winners from the college students are provided with prizes in the event stage in the hand of chief guest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is feasible and affiliated to Anna University, so the fees is fixed by them in addition to additional fees such as food fees. They will accept only the demand draught in the college name as fees.yes, They provide transparency in the fee breakdown. Sometimes we have to pay extra for the materials we buy in college. The examination fees has to be paid extra. Only the tuition fees is fixed by Anna University. Transportation fee is as applicable. For day scholars breakfast and lunch is mandatory in college. They have to pay the fees for that weil for hostellers three times food is provided by college including snacks on all days which has to be paid by them.
Fees and Financial Aid
SD college offers scholarship to students. The eligibility for scholarship is given by government, as the scholarship is government provided. Scholarship for BC and MBC students even college provide some scholarship to students based on the percentage they score andannual income of the family.
Campus Life
The gender ratio may be 10 : 7. 10 boys for 7 girls. The colleges strictly prohibited ragging and they will not ask for any caste or religious things. There is no partiality between girls and boys in any activities they will treat equally. While safety for women is given preference. There is no politics in our college. We have cultural activities for every events organised in our college and workshops are organised by our college for self development and placement oriented.
Alumni/Alumna
The have yearly alumni association meeting and they all are good position now. Sometimes they invite us to college to provide the trainings to our juniors
Admission
Through merit. By Anna University counselling. I'm interested in this course. Factors I like in this college are food, faculties, teaching, placement. Submit the application form for counselling in Anna University and based on the cut off Marks you can choose the college. The cut off marks can be calculated based on Anna University regulations
Faculty
The faculty of the college is very responsible and they are very helpful. They help the students at any moment and college supports the same. They support and guide to have the research and project to implement. The number of lectures are 20 for my course and the average age may be 40 and qualifications are M.E and P.Hd. they have industrial certification and experience according to the subject the teach
