Remarks
For the PGDM my college is quite good but gor the BBA one need to think ones. The PGDM students are made to work hard and made ready for the corporate world where as they are very linent and carefree for the BBA students.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our college offers two courses BBA and PGDM. The quality of education varies for both. The course curriculum for the PGDM is highly advance and more frequently updated provided with visiting faculties where as for the BBA the old ones follows with no good faculties.
Placement Experience
Yes, I did my summer as well as winter internship. In terms of internship our college is quite good. But the placement is quite moderate with the average package of 4 lakhs. There is no placement for the BBA ones only internship are offered to them. Only few go.
College Events
Yes some of the events are celebrated in our college on the regular basis. The freshers and the farewell are the most enjoyable ones. It's the cultural committee who handles all. They try to add fun even to small celebrations, like Christmas, holi, janmastami, diwali,etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite feasible compared to other colleges offering thd same course. The PGDM fee is also quite feasible.There is a provision for scholarship based on the last exams you pass. And special scholarship for the girls. Do I would say it's not that expensive.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, My only one scholarship was availed that is the girls scholarship. My 12th marks was not that good. The girls get the 10% discount.
Campus Life
The campus life is kind of moderate and there is not much crowd of students. Many of the students are of the local area which also hamper the crowd. The girls and boy ratio is kind of equal. We have sports week once in a year but students conduct monthly sports day. The MPL is organised for the PGDM ones only.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, There is separate hostel for both boys and girls with a common mess and gym facility. The hostel are good for one to stay and the food is also good. The hostel is located in the college premises itself making it convenient for the students to live.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior are very helpful. The alumni encourage the students to work hard. They also motivated there junior to be more professional and hard working explaining the life of real corporate world
Admission
Applied through merit list after giving JEE mains. Can apply via CET too. My preference was electronics, college didn't really matter to me. SFIT is average for extc. Maybe even below average. Course is good enough as it follows Mumbai University. Its not new technology, but basics are covered atleast. Extc professors are nice, but strict too. Too many assignments given
Faculty
The lectures the schedule but for the BBA not all the lectures are taken on the regular basis and even nog good faculties are provided for the BBA students. Where as it's just opposite for the PGDM ones. Regular lectures, proper attention is taken by the facilities.
