KCG COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY provides best overall learning experience to any student studying here. It is in the ethos of this institution to make every man a success and no man a failure. They are working hard on achieving it by providing students with quality education and best facilities. The environment is the best among several local colleges and it's more fun rather than stress.

Course structure is designed such that you eventually progress from basics to advanced level topics. Research oriented focus is a bit low though. Exams and labs are fun to attend as the schedule is easily manageable.

Placements are average here. Companies coming include IT majors like Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, Wipro. Also there are few core companies coming like Siemens, Valuelabs, Zoho, National instruments. The average package offered is around 4-4. 5 LPA. Internships are good since the college has partnered with IIT Madras to provide good companies with stipend including research at IIT-M, internship at Nokia, Siemens, GAVS.

College regularly conducts national level technical symposiums for every branch every year and invites students from various colleges. Also cultural fest is organised every year to boost up the spirits of students and invite movie stars to perform. In symposiums over 2000 students from various colleges take part.

It is feasible. For students on government seat average tuition fee for a year is ?70000 and those through management is ?85000. Apart from the above fee other amount regarding books, events and miscellaneous is added which brings the total around ?90000

College provides scholarship for those who are first engineer in their family and levy 50% on tuition fees. Loans are offered by several banks including SBI for students and interest is low too. There is a kiosk of SBI at college itself.

Extracurricular activities are a huge plus for any student of this college. You are provided with several options to choose from in sports and can join several sports clubs. Outfield grounds are properly maintained with good facilities and coaching. Students are regularly encouraged to conduct various intercollege fests, presentations, quizzes and other fun activities too. Gender ratio is healthy with around 98 girls for 100 boys. Students from various ethnic backgrounds study together and have a great time.

Hostel facilities are sufficient enough for a good and comfortable time during course. Rooms are large with good ventilation and proper facilities. Rooms are available as 4 sharing, 3 sharing, 2 sharing and single occupancy too. Warden also is understanding and helps in any case. There are lots of PGs available nearby starting from ?4000 per person on double sharing.

Alumni reach is good in this College. You have contacts of every alumni and it's easy to reach them. Most of them are working at reputed posts in leading MNCs and are always ready to assist. They have helped in getting internships and placements through letter of recommendations.

Most of the faculties are good with knowledge and are focused on imparting best teaching. They often encourage students to go for internships, take part in technical symposiums and help in their research too. Teaching environment is cool.
