Manoj Kumar's Review On ABSS Institute Of Technology, Meerut

I took UPTU SEE exam and got admission in B.Tech, ECE 2008 batch. My Rank was 65000. The decision for choosing this college was NCR region. The advantage of this particular thing is that we can have scope of many companies near within radius of 70Kms (Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon).

My opted course for Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) was Electronics and Communication (ECE). I had Eight (8) long semesters. Each semesters containing with average 6 Subjects. Apart from this at least 3 Practicals per semester.

I was quite good. We got a overview of Robotics. Stipend was not offered. The stipend is only for MBA's and M.Tech's. After those internships programs we had seminar for self development and to speak in front of all.

This is the main thing for we struggle. Placement has worst situation for this college. Even few companies who visited were fake, BPO's or either declined job later.

You will feel this is the best this our college. We celebrate this event called 'CONFLUENCE', its a annual festival program. Apart from this annual sports I had seen it once in year 2011, later I don't know.

This is the one of the most expensive colleges in the Meerut area. As far as education and placements are concern the fees in not worth. College fee 90000/- and Hostel 50000/- a year, Its too costly.

Scholarship facility is available for people who's father annual income is below 100000/-. Or for SC/ST candidates.

We have alumni. But our bad luck, we don't have a proper oriented alumni. We don't get get any update are mails. So, we have created a Community on Facebook of our own.

Exams were used to tough. I was academically good. But we used to study a day before and pass the exams. Labs are available, but I think faculty is not good enough for this.

Faculty was with average quality. They had recruited freshers,passed outs from colleges. But I would say 1st Year Electrical (Mr.Neeraj) and Mechnical (Mr.Pundir) and few more were best teachers. I suggest if you want a good faculty, then you will have to fight for it. Moreover on our demand we changed 5 Faculties for EMFT.
