Remarks

Old college with remarkable history. Proud to be a part of this institution apart from acadamics I learnt lot of worldy things here main highlight is it is at center of city and has good greenery which helps the people very much

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Curriculum is best in this locality. You cannot expect a better curriculum in south tamilnadu. Exam structure has 3 internals in which 2 of them is compulsory and third one is for those who failed. The college time would very nice and enjoyable I enjoyed very much

Placement Experience

3.5

My department is not about placement generally no placement for physics but other Dept have placements there is a placement cell helping students. No idea of internship no scholarship no stipend nothing

College Events

5

The best thing about college is their events every department conducts an intercollegiate meet. Our intercollegiate team was stronger during my batch we won 7 overall championship in over locality. We conducted Phobos and reverberate two events had good response all over

Fee Structure And Facilities

Low fees for MSc govt aided seat is available where the fees are low and there is also self financing course which has higher but a manageable fees good hostels are available and normal fees for them also

Fees and Financial Aid

The Ministry of Human Resource Development plays a significant role in the education sector of the nation. Contributing effectively to the socio-economic development of the country, the ministry functions through its two distinctive departments namely, the Department of School Education & Literacy and the Department of Higher Education. Both the departments together work for the upliftment of educational standards across the nation. The ministry offers a number of MhrD

Campus Life

4

Good sports ground is available. Good labs with many basic equipments is available. I worked in both physics and chemistry labs both of them great. We regularly celebrate 3 parties in a year freshers, christmas and farewell. Though being christian college it is very tollerant. Undergraduate is boys and post graduate is co education

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes I was a hosteller food and infrastructure is good for under graduate 5 students per room and for post graduate it is 2 students per room water is little salty but manageable. Food is above avarege

Alumni/Alumna

Good alumni cell is available. Many famous alumuni regularly come to college and great us. Alumni encourage us for better future. I once got to meet director of solar observatory of kodaikanal which encouraged me a lot

Admission

I loved physics and this college was one of the biggest in my locality that's why I chose this college. No interview only entrance exam. UG percentage and entrance score has equal weigtage. There is special seats for CSI christians

Faculty

3

Not up to the mark. But there are some extraordinary faculty too but overall it is very much below average for ug level this is OK but pg it is not enough. There are very less staff clearing net. They mostly be careless. They will give you good freedom

Actually I am currently in seconnd semester right now, I am not sure about the eligiblity criteria for campus placements. But I gathered some informations about the placement process with the help of students who completed their degree here recently. Most of the students having skills in demand based on the company requirements will get selected. Companies with good reputation will visit during campus placements. My aim was to getting placed in a company with good reputation and descent salary package.
