Irfan's Review On Nagrik Shikshan Sanstha's College Of Pharmacy, Mumbai

The college is good in all the things but i should say that college should do something for the students without taking money from them and increase cultural acitivity.

No entrance exam and i opt for this college because i got admission in first round and the teaching quality of teachers was nice.

This is a 2 years diploma course. This course is a post HSC diploma course that is you can take admission over here after passing HSC exam with good marks. In this course there are subjects like pharmaceutics,pharmaceutical chemistry,Pharmacognosy,Health education,Business management,Jurisprudence etc.

After completion of the college there is 3 months internship in any medical near our residential area. In this period we have to maintain a book containing drug name company name and ingredients and signature of pharmacist.

There is placement in companies which offer medical representative jobs. Some hospital people also come to campus. Apollo hospital people also came there and took interview but i think they had nor called any body.

Mostly they dont celebrate all the festivals but student forced to do. One time we had conducted a rally programme on prevention of breast cancer. I my self had made a ppt on one topic related to pharmacist and went to kolhapur with my friend and won 2 nd prize in whole maharashtra.

For some people it is expensive for some it is feasible. When i was studying there fees was 80000 now it is 95000. During the college they also take money from us for every event they conduct. Some time 100 some time 150 etc.

Government scholarship was available which gives 25000 per year. It was for muslim jain and some others for this we have to submit documents and the amount was credited in our account.

There are girls and boys may be in same ratio. All kinds of religious students are there like hindu muslim christian etc. Sports of the college are very very bad because there is only chess and carrom.

Our seniors are very good students and we met one alumni he is working now with good business. Even i am now a alumni we went to college and interact with our juniors and motivated them.

Exams were very good i was the 4 th topper of the college and labs were also very nice and they leave us with very happy ending.

Faculty of the college was good. This is a 2 years diploma course.There are practicles and lectures. Lectures are taken by good and experienced teachers. Teachers are very hard working and co operative. Lecture hall has two air condition.
