Pravara Rural College of Pharmacy, Ahmednagar has its inception in the year 1981 with the aim to provide education the rural people in the Maharashtra region. The college was founded by the famous Pravara Rural Education Society by Late Padmashri Dr. Vikhe Patil and Padmabhushan Balasaheb Vikhe Patil. It gained Bachelor of Pharmacy1987 under University of Pune. In the year 2004 college started M. Pharm (Pharmacognosy) and in year 2008 M. Pharm in Pharmachemistry.
