Remarks
The college needs to bring in the option for on campus Job and placement and intership opportunities. This is so that each and every student gets a fair chance to get a job after completion of their course.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was good. There were yearly exams based on which the students were promoted to the next year. And a minimum of 33% was compulsory for you to be promoted to the next year. There were 10 subjects each year.
Placement Experience
No the University does not provide any internship or placement and job opportunities. Students were required to seek for intership and job and placement opportunities outside the college campus. So it was a bit hard for students.
College Events
Annual Function, it was annual event which was celebrated by the students in a very enthusiastic manner. It was usually organized during month of October each year. It was compulsory for students from each department to be part of the Annual program.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees was 12000 rupees/year. And it was supposed to be paid in the beginning of the session each year. The fees was supposed to be paid at bank after which a receipt was provided to the students for completion of their admission.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
Yes, there was scholarship available for students who belonged to lower class families and to students whose families annual income was less than 100000. The percentage of scholarship is not clear but we had a few students in our batch who were taking the advantage of scholarship.
Campus Life
There a sports club in our college in which mostly cricket, football, basketball and badminton were played. Cricket was the most popular game and students were trained on college ground so that they can participate in State and National level events.
Hostel Facilities
I did not opted for college hostel as the college was in the same city where I was living. I used to go to the college with my friend on my bike. The college was around 15km away from my home. It hardly took us 20 mins to cover the whole distance.
Alumni/Alumna
The Alumni network of Agra college was not that good and there was a minimum interaction with the senior students as the college was aiming for no ragging on campus ground. So the classes were distributed according to that.
Admission
The college conducted an entrance exam and based on the merit list shortlisted the students for admission.
Faculty
The faculty were also very good. Most of the faculty there were PhD holders and had around 10-12 years of teaching experience. Classes taken by most of the faculties were very interactive. They provided us with some really good real life examples.
