Course Curriculum Overview

The course is fully related to agriculturs and its management. We have total 4 semisters in which afyer 2 semisters we have 2 months summer internship. The courses which are provided is related to real condition of the companies so that we can be able to work with the companies. We get a good knowledge and training about the courses and experiments.

Placement Experience

Placement is 100%. It is based on internships provided by campus. Stipen ranges from 6 lakhs to 12 lakhs. Placement is also done by the campus. There is a sufficient opportunities for a student to chose their related and intrested companies.

College Events

Agrisummit - It is a largest event of our college. Different students from campuses participate in this. Drushyam- It is a platform where student get opportunity to showcast their tallent. Marketfare- In this we have to sell the priduct Anusmruti- It is an alumni meet

Hostel Facilities

Its is compulsory to stay in hostel. It is good. Mess facilitites is good. The fess is included in the college fees only. There is no extra fees taken. Rooms are well cleaned and good. There is a good security.

Admission

The college is good in agribusiness domain. I have given snap exam and msrit list was announced. After that i got call for interview. In that group discussion, writting ability test and interview was conducted. After that in 1st list i was selected.

Faculty

Faculties are very helpful and we were asigned mentors to solve students problem. Teaching is also very good.we have summer internship for 2 months which is provided by college. Stipen ranges from 10,000 to 25,000

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Less fees good Roi.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is decent good because as per the fees it will gives us 6lpa as a average package it is good Roi as per my opinion. There are maximum company related to banks and startups and mainly for Marketing roles. My plans for after degree to get placed with good package.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after completing 2nd semester and entering in 3rd semester. Attendance is compulsory for getting the opportunity for placements. The companies like IDBI Bank, HDFC Bank, Property pistol, Godrej Capital are available for placements. The highest paid package is 9.75 for sales and marketing. Till now( 3rd semester) 60% to 70% students are placed. There are more opportunities for sales and marketing as compared to other fields.

Placement Experience:

Form the first semester itself students will be starting to get the internship opportunities as we have to complete 2 months of internship after first year. The third semester students, who come to campus after internship are all eligible for placements. JPMC, CRISIL, BNY, Federal Bank, KPMG, Tresvista, NUVAMA are a few of the companies visiting college. The highest CTC offered was INR 21.42LPA and the average CTC is INR 11 LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

Overall, I would say that I think this is a very unique course being offered by SP Jain and they are very strict with the submission timelines and quality of work. This is definitely is not a run off the mill part time MBA. The institute makes sure you sweat to earn your degree, respectfully!

Life at SIIB

Basically, my CAT didn't go as expected. So I couldn't make it to colleges that accept CAT as an entrance. If you look into agribusiness colleges that accept CAT - MANAGE, hyderabad VAMNICOM, Pune NIAM, Jaipur NAARM, hyderabad etc Due to my low score in cat i didn't get into any of these. I also had given SNAP exam through which i applied to SIIB, pune which was one of the best decisions i made back then. The college is excellent. The only thing is since its a private college the fee is bit on a higher side compared to other ABM colleges in India. But in placements and faculty its equally competitive. Lets get a deep dive inside SIIB

The admission process comprised of the SNAP Test, followed by the GD-PI Process. The cut-off for Symbiosis Institute of International Business was somewhere between 88-90 percentile. Eligibility Criteraia: Student needs to appear for the SNAP Exam. They should have completed their Graduation or must be in the Final Year of their Graduation. Application forms are available on the college website on the homepage. Once you complete the snap test and get through the cut-off, you are sent a GD-PI Call Letter. Then, you have the option to choose your preferred date and time slot for the GD-PI process. (The process is conducted Online) Next, during the GD-PI process, there are volunteers available to guide and help through the process. It is conducted in a very smooth and efficient manner. Finally, if you are selected, you are sent an admission letter, wherein you need to pay the 1st Semester fees as a confirmation of acceptance before the Program Commencement date of the college....Read More
