Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure was good and was based on practical observations on the field and laboratory oriented. The exam was conducted on the exam pad mode. The questions are mostly objective and also have detail answers. We have 5 hours of lab work everyday.

Placement Experience

The placement cell in our college take care of the students placements. Our college invites the agro industries and other industries related to agricultural activity and make us placed. As I am a final year student I know that our college is now making arrangements for placing the students in a good company.

1. Field day - to make the local farmers aware of new varieties and to adopt them. 2. Sports day - to find out the best sports persons in the college. 3. Annual day - to make announcement of the academic year events and achievements 4. Pongal day - it is a Tamil nadu's harvest festival 5. UTSAV - cultural festival conducted in the college 6. Tamil Ilakkiya mandram - Tamil language festival 7. Science day - to bring out the talents with scientific knowledge 8. Teachers day - to celebrate the efforts made teachers

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is feasible. Tution fees is INR 40000 per annum. Hostel fees is INR 70000 per annum. Book fees and miscellaneous fees is INR 25000 per annum. Totally it is around INR 135000 per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college makes arrangements for government scholarship for students admitted through the counseling quota, it is 10000 per student per year.

Campus Life

The college also gives importance to the extra curricular activities like sports and cultural events. The major sports in our college are cricket, athletics, volleyball, kabaddi, football. Our college is good at athletics.

Hostel Facilities

Yes. I am a hosteller. My hostel fees is INR 70000 per annum. It includes accomodation and food. In a room 3 students are accommodated. The room facilities are well and good. We have sports facilities, reading room, TV room and Gymnasium at the hostel. the hygienic conditions are good with a good water facility.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes our alumni are very helpful in guiding us. They encourage and make us aware of our talents. We are feeling good to be guided and having interaction with our alumni.

Admission

I got the admission in my college through the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University counselling 2016. I have got cutoff of 185.00 in my Higher Secondary Education. I have applied for the counselling and according to the and got placed at Kumaraguru Institute of Agriculture which is located at Sakthi Nagar, Erode district.

Faculty

The faculty of my college are good and have a very good practical and theoretical knowledge on the subject. Our college recruit those who have completed Ph.D, hence the knowledge of the faculty are undoubtedly good.

This course have the last two semester that is the fourth year as all India study tour rave and experiential learning in which you have no exams from the TNAU by rather than focusing on field in our experiences of the student by the students are placed upon in particular village allotted to area office so the students would face the struggles and experience of an agricultural officer in field level and get contact with the farmer and intraway we also get many certificates it will be useful for as career in all India study tour we are exposed to various states and cities of total India we will travel to various station in located in all over the country and we also get a huge exposure to it in inexperiential learning we are allowed to choose two modules in which one for one subject based upon the college this providing at the time we get exposure up on the practical and the industrial aspects of how to produce something either in the field of agriculture Horticulture aquaculture poultry etcetera. Clampes you based upon agriculture aspect and it is also useful for UPSC aspirants too improvements is that you can add some transportation facilities from main city to this college because it's located in the rural area and also there are need to be more labs of higher advanced the exam is for two and half for a 40 marks of the final year exam and the practical exam maybe depend upon external who comes mostly it is also around some three hours and The Viva may extend up to many time based upon external and the midsem for 1 hour

Only after 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement but without arrears. Bayers , Tata Rallis, auxin bio science, this are fertilizer companies . I am interested in studying science. Student:faculty ratio is 40:450 Phd scholar only teach through projector rarely used board to teach One or two MSC scholar also teach Midsem conduct for 20 marks, practical exam for 40 marks, sem end exam conducted for 60 marks.
