Remarks

The college definitely keep in mind the safety and the social enjoyment of the student because there are many such facilities provided through which the students are able to concentrate on their college life and side-by-side there are also such activities through which the students can get good results in their examination. Overall, the college is a great deal for all of the pharmacy students.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is highly research and thoroughly prepared by the faculty members. The semesters in which the course is divided are very well structured by the college faculty. There are also practical sessions on different aspects of pharmacy. A normal day in the college is filled with lots of lectures and interesting practical knowledge.

Placement Experience

High amount of placement opportunities are provided at the college. To track the placement opportunities of the students the college also consists of a training and placement cell. This training and placement cell also help the students to gain good job opportunities through on campus interviews.

Fee Structure And Facilities

You will be very shocked to know that the fee structure of the college is very low as compared to all of the other pharmacy colleges of India. You will only have to submit tuition fees and no other fees has been taken by the students till date. The tuition fees for each year is around 35000 rupees.

The environment of the college is definitely very positive and a ton of facilities are provided for the safety of the students also. You can get transportation facilities, medical facilities, accommodation facilities, internet facilities, digital library facilities, power backup facilities and many others.

Admission

The University of the college decides the rules and regulation regarding the application procedure. The admission procedure that I followed to get admission was to just visit the college campus and ask for the application form. They will give you the application form and they will also direct to you on how to fill the application form. You can always rely on the information given by the college faculty members.

Faculty

Faculty members of the college are very qualified and interested. The way of teaching of all the faculty members is really great and innovative. Professors are very friendly with the students. The professors often take extra classes of some relatively weak students.

Golden days era

Likes

The faculty, ambience, facilities were good.The knowledge shared was great
Faculty was very patient and approcheable
The college environment was good at opportunities ,events , and social interactions

Dislikes

Many changes required within the lab facilities and shortage of lab equipments as well
Placement support was good but the salries offered by the employers was not satisfactory.
More practical knowledge related activities to be implemented

Course Curriculum Overview:

Pharmacy was the best option for Bipc students apart from MBBS. My main aim was MBBS,but unfortunaley i couldn't get it. Retail pharma, industrial, clinical had a huge scope which made me to opt for Bachelor of Pharmacy. Curriculum needs more practical knowledge to prove within the real time market. Improvement was much needed with research based programs as it was the major core area for pharma aspirants. Frequency betwween internal and external exams were too short.

Heavy work load and assignments and too many rules
Difficult commute and strict attendance rules

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at my college are fairly good. The college has a dedicated placement cell that helps students prepare for recruitment through aptitude tests, technical training, communication and interview-skills sessions, and placement drives.

The college maintains strict discipline, which can sometimes feel restrictive for students.
Attendance requirements are quite strict.
Some procedures and permissions can be time-consuming and rigid.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally available for final-year B.Pharmacy students, with eligibility usually starting from the 7th semester. Companies may offer roles in pharmaceutical sales, quality control, production and related fields. Package and number of offers vary each year, so I would not mention unverified figures. The college provides placement support, but students should also focus on internships and skill development. After graduation, I plan to pursue higher studies or seek a suitable opportunity in the pharmaceutical industry.

Likes

Good interaction between students and teachers.

Dislikes

Force to wear shoes slippers not allowed
The lunch break is too short, so there isn’t enough free time to relax.
No college programs or festivals. the college focuses only on studies.

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Pharmaceutical and healthcare companies visit the campus and offer roles in sales, production, quality control, regulatory affairs and clinical research. The highest and average packages vary by company and year, usually depending on the profile offered. A good percentage of eligible students get placed. After completing my B.Pharm, I plan to gain industry experience and pursue higher studies or specialize in a suitable field.

Likes

Food availability and other requirements in the college are good
The amount of events they conduct to create about drug free society
They ask us to acquire good pharmacist skills in the early stages

Dislikes

The college is very disciplined. It works very systematically
The college management do not allow us without identity card and proper uniform
The college staff do not permit into the labs without apron

Placement Experience:

All the best company takes the students for interviews. Our Dean sir do his best to make sure every child get the job in the college it self. He is very dedicated towards the placements through his connections

Packages vary by company, with average offers around ₹3–5 LPA. Placement percentage is moderate. After graduation, I plan to pursue higher studies and build my career.

College for the study purpose only

Likes

The college focuses more on academic excellence so if you really want to focus on studies it's best
Campus life is enjoyable , very green and have events. Students get opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities, which helps in building confidence
The faculty members are knowledgeable and very supportive. They will guide you for the future path and your life decisions

Dislikes

Mostly focus is on academics and extracurricular activities are very less
The placement opportunities are very less . They pay very less
The girls ratio is 60 and boys ratio is 40.

Placement Experience:

From 4-2 the students become eligible for college placement No of companies visites for placement are many and that includes Cipla,Sun Pharma, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Sometimes it is 100% placement for few companies and for some it is 3-4 students My plans include doing m pharma

Remarks:

It has both positive and negative.they have all the extra curricular activities which is required.they give quality food everyday.the infrastructure is also good.the faculty,the students,employees all are good.but they have to improve their transport facility properly.

Mesco College of pharmacy, Pharmacy life.

Mesco is an OU-affiliated college, if you want to take admitted then you have to score under 20k EAMCET RANK. If you are undercut you get admission through the convenor. If EAMCET RANK is more than the eligibility cut-off, then take admission through MANAGEMENT. You get a management seat. The fees for management are 50-60k per year. You get a central Scholarship easily around 25k per year. For Govt. Seat student's scholarship seat is free just have to pay 5k per year. In this college, the faculty is fair not so good not soo bad honest reviews. Just know that you have to study on your own. But the good thing is about the library. Library of Mesco is best for students they provide semester textbooks to students. Labs are also clean and you have to attend lab regularly. Just you have to know that, pharmacy is easy for those who have the ability to self-study. You whole 4 years of b pharm, 8 semesters of exams you have to pass on self-study and score well for good marks....Read More

MESCO college- A review.

To get the admission in the college one has to wait for the merit list. The eligibility basically is 10+2 result from any state/central approved, authorised school. However if you studied in national institute of open schooling then you are not eligible for the admission in this college.
