Akshaya Institute of Management Studies is an approved Centre for Research under Anna University to offer a Ph.D. Program(Full Time/Part-Time). It offers specialization in Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Systems, Operations, and Shipping and Logistics management.

The fee structure in Akshaya Institute of Management studies is very feasible. It offers MBA in different specializations, which is a 2years, full-time course. The fee is about 1.6 lakhs in total. Fees do not vary according to the specialization, it is the same for students in every department. All the students under different specializations find it easy to pay the fees without affecting the economy of their own families.

This Institute of Management Studies is approved by AICTE and affiliated with Anna University. They also provide scholarships to students. Scholarships are offered on the basis of merit, while other scholarships are offered by Anna university. Merit cum means minority scholarship is one such scholarship offered to the students of a minority.

There is no such hard and sole rule to take part in extracurricular activities in our college. Rather, the college concentrates on the improvement of the students in their chosen fields. But, during off periods many students gather to do some music, games, etc.

The Akshaya Institute of Management Studies hostel facility is one that is maintained and run with great care and concern. Hostel facilities are pretty good. And similar to other expenses, it is also pretty feasible. Hostel rooms are spacious. The boy's hostel is relatively newer than the girl's hostel. We made lots of drool-worthy memories in the hostel and made a lot of good friends. Tidy rooms and hygienic facilities make for an ideal stay-away from home ambiance.

The admission in Akshaya Institute of Management Studies[AIMS]is that one has to take the TANCET or the GMAT/XAT/CAT and secure good scores. After which counseling is carried out and the candidates are shortlisted and called for a personal interview. Their performance will determine the candidate’s selection possibility. There’s cut-off relaxation for the reserved category.
