Course Curriculum Overview

It is a course of 5 years 6 months. During the course of time, we explore the origin of Ayurveda, its importance, history, and relevance in today's world. I studied Padartha Vigyan, Kriya Sharir, Rachana Sharir amongst many other concepts.

Placement Experience

The placement cell plays a very important role in scouting for placements and job opportunities for students. Internship opportunities are also located by the college by maintaining relations with industrial establishments.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fees for the course BAMS in the college amounts to approximately 3,50,000. A certain amount of registration fee is also taken from us for some workshops, seminars, and other events in addition to the fees.

Campus Life

Medical camps are regularly organized. We have a very good library having a diverse range of books. The auditorium is quite spacious and well built.

Admission

I completed my 12th standard examination in 2017 with PCB scoring 92%. The ranks of NEET are accepted here. I had always wanted to study Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery as the field had captured my interest for a long time now.

Faculty

Our professors have a great deal of teaching experience. They hold Masters and P.hD. in their respective subjects. They are very passionate about their subjects and teach with a lot of enthusiasm in the class.

Likes

Best Faculties who take as our parents and not as other faculties
The class room provided with Projector for clear explanation by staffs
Well and good infrastructure with RO treated water at each floor

Dislikes

Distance between the main gate and our college is too high
It is an group institution so the canteen is availed by all of them
No stationary shop to buy all the things

Likes

The experience of the staff working and their teaching skills
The versatility of the pateints in IP and OP sectors. It provide opportunity to learn new way for diagnosis and treatment
The peaceful space it provides and medicine preparation sector is too good

Dislikes

The infrastructure and hostel buildings are bad
There is no adequate facilities in hostels and especially boys hostels
The college campus is small and can be even better with botanical gardens

As siddha medicine curriculum includes medicine preparation that field is too good It gives us the confidence of the medicine and its capabilities to cure patients The exams are once in a year in old curriculum but now it includes internals and frequency of exams are increased

I had an hour long conversation with him and every minute was worth for me. Out of many questions I asked, a few I'd like to share-
I was having the typical medical student crisis since last 1 week, due to which I wasn't able to concentrate well in my studies. He is a veteran surgeon, practising since 40 years, so I thought it'd be best to talk to him.
How i told experience are good to me , hostle life's are horrible never forget to say that then friends are good

Dislikes

Improvement of management is is necessary for every college and university
More stops add to teach our students experts

I choose for my personal interest of using siddha medicine, normal students of my clg is 70/100 Teachers are teaching good,exams are too difficulty so we can study more to get pass the university exams are conducted every year

College Life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Interested in learning Ayurveda so chosen this course. 1:30 is the faculty-student ratio. All faculties have been mastered or completed Ph.D. in their own particular subject. Yearly two internal assessments and one Semester exam with the model exam before it is conducted. We have to get more than half of the total marks to pass. Difficulty level differs from time to time.

Remarks:

The RVS Siddha Medical College And Hospital, Kannampalayam has been providing the BSMS course since 2006. It is a great place to learn about regional and national languages as well as about plants, medicines, and usage of plants in the medical field.

I tried mbbs but my neet score is not sufficient to take government seat so I was confused what to take the next step. My friends told me take bams or bsms. Which is best I was in confusion again. I asked some seniors they told bams is best.then in tamilnadu lot of competition so first I decided to apply in all India quota I got selected in ayurveda college of Coimbatore. I joined there after some days I got the information that for my marks I could get free bams college in tamilnadu but I didn't apply so if I apply I could definitely get that college. I was missed that good college.I still feel guilty to make my parents to work more so only they can able to give college fee....Read More
