The courses for MS in Shalya tantra was the course I selected. The curriculum was so in depth which did not even miss a single medical procedure. The practical sessions were like real time scenario so that when we come out after completing the course we will not find difficult in attending patients in hospitals and start our consultation immediately without any doubts or hesitation. The exam structure is similar like the above mentioned way of practical based scenario questions which will give us more insight on how we should handle the questions asked by patients.

Mainly campus placement happens across UG and PG every year. Most of the pharmaceutical companies across India come here select the best candidates for their research and hospitals come here to select trainee doctors for their hospitals across India.

Fees here are very nominal and the college management is very open is discussing the structure. Though the fees keep changing every year based on the inflation and current demand, the range is just 10-15%. Also there are lots of scholarships available for lower income candidates and well performing students. The college helps in even getting loans.

Blood donation camps, cultural events like Ugadi day celebrations, independence day celebrations and annual day events. There are free medical checks across rural areas in Karnataka which happens every 6 months once during which we will also have practical experience and facing real patients which help us after graduation and in our professional practice.

After completing my UG in BAMS, I was doing a research of PG colleges in Karnataka which provides good curriculum and have a good infrastructure for practical classes. I came across my college which was ranked one of the best colleges in Karnataka for PG in Ayurveda and Siddha. The selection process was very simple like they checked my UG scores and my trainee experience certificate. They had a interview and it was checking my experience as trainee doctor and my practical skills. That's all and I was selected.

The faculties are excellent in all the ways they can. They provide out of topic questions and ready to help even after class hours to help us understand the challenges we might face and how to handle them patiently. There are also lots of visiting doctors who give us extra class hours for making us to understand the importance of the profession and the skills required to achieve.
