The course curriculum is as per the Medical Council of India described guidelines and is crafted keeping in mind practical domain needs of the discipline. Semester wise system of examination is followed whereby due weightage is given to practical knowledge along with the theoretical aspects. short term tests and assignments are given to evaluate the performance from time to time.

Placement in our college is good and there are good opportunities for one to get placed with NIMHANS itself as well as other government and private sector hospitals. Internship is an integral part of our course and it is provided by NIMHANS itself.

The fees is not too much exaggerated like other private colleges offering this course. Complete the entire 3 year duration course by paying around Rs 55 to 60 thousand. Even if one finds this amount to be high then financial assistance can is available in form of scholarship, loans etc.

This Central government offers scholarship to the meritorious students and students from reserved category through National Scholarship Portal. Scholarship is also offered to students from educationally and socially backward classes of society. Apart from that the state government of Karnataka offers scholarship to students who are domicile of the state. Educational loans are extended by both the private and public sector bank.

Since NIMHANS is more of hospital cum institute nothing much in terms of extra curricular activities like the other colleges where you can find cultural club, dancing club etc is here. However, events like Republic Day, Independence Day, freshers meet etc are organised by the institute. In terms of infrastructure the college is top notch.

Applied for the entrance exam conducted by the institute for the UG courses. After qualifying examination I had to wait to get my name to the merit list as there are only limited number of seats for the respective course. Once I got into the merit list I was called to complete the procedural formality for admission. This is one of the top Medical college in the country.
