Semester system is followed in my college under which we are required to maintain our CGPA for our promotion to the next semester. I’m studying the integrated course of B.Tech and M.Tech in nanotechnology which is a 5 year course divided in 9 semesters. Open elective courses and foreign business language is also taught to us in the curriculum.

Placement Experience

4.5

We, as students of Amity are promised 100% assistance in the placement process. BYJUs, Accenture, UpGrad are amongst the few top notch companies that visit our campus to offer recruitment. Also, as a part of our course we are required to perform some outdoor activity based courses that helps us make our skill set strong.

College Events

4.5

1. Seminars on Nano Technology 2. National and International Conferences 3. Sports events 4. Social Visits like visit to the Orphanage

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of Amity is quite expensive. I paid around 1.18 lakhs as my first year fee. Other expenses include transportation, accommodation and food charges. Also, we are required to pay the registration fee to some workshops.

Campus Life

4.5

Amity helps to provide us an amazing college experience with its excellent facilities, infrastructure and studies. Various sports and drama events are also conducted. The college is also ahead in extracurricular activities and also helps us in every step of our journey to grow.

Admission

After completing my 12th std studies, I filled out Amity’s application form for my course, the minimum eligibility for which is a minimum of 60% in class 12th PCM/PCB. It is India’s first institute to offer a degree in nanotechnology which made it an ideal choice. Amity has its own selection procedure under which I gave an English Language Test followed by a personal interview. I came to know about my admission status through the Admission Microsite of the college.

Amity has eminent professors who are really helpful and hold an expertise in their subjects. We are satisfied with their teaching process. They make classroom learning quite fun with the vast amount of knowledge they hold.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Msc.Biotechnology is a good course. The laboratory aspect has pushed me a bit to make the decision. Curriculum makes us academically good but not good for real world. College laboratory needs improvement in terms of installation of proper laboratory equipments. Teaching skills & class control methods needs improvement. Teaching should be made more industry based and practical based. Exam pattern is good, not very easy to pass, have to work hard to get good marks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to study psychology in clinical setting in future. I am interested in therapies and diagnosis but currently I'm focusing on counselling. There were 6 sections of masters in psychology with a ratio of 60 students each class. The faculty was NET qualified and some were doing their PHD along with teaching. The teaching methods was nice as we had access to technology as well like projectors. The material provided to us was really good for our future reference. Exams were held every six months and the difficulty level of exams were moderate.
