Remarks

I am extremely happy and satisfied with my college. The college has given me great opportunities and experiences as well as memories which is definitely going to help me in the future and has made my vision more broad towards the competitive approach of the society.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is student friendly. It doesnt pressuroze the students or burden the student with unnecessary tension. The exam structure is really good, not at all hectic, focus is on knowledge rather than on marks.

Placement Experience

The placements are the best for our seniors. Around 75% of the students were placed all over Bangalore. The salary offered is in between 10K to 20K per month. After the term is completed, everyone has a job with them and is placed.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The expense structure of the school is very reasonable and practical, I feel. It's prudent. The charges are Rs 62,000 for each annum which makes it to Rs 248,000 on an aggregate for a time of four years which isn't over the top expensive.

Campus Life

The college has a vast opportunity for extracurricular activites. Not only it motivates the students for taking part in various games but also it keeps them fot and inspired that learning is a life long process. There is no discrimination or injustice against any student.

Hostel Facilities

The college provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls studying various courses. The hostel provides spacious, clean and well-maintained rooms. Along with adequate arrangements for lodging as well as hygienically prepared food we also have sufficient security to ensure the safety of students residing in the hostel under the watchful eye of the hostel wardens.

Admission

Taking admission here is considered to be difficult as the admission is done on merit basic most ofter. Therefore the students who have secured good marks in their 12th boards are eligibile to get admission. I being one of those students, applied and go the admission.

Faculty

The faculty of college was combination of both good and bad. If I rate them on scale of 1 - 5, 5 being Excellent and 1 being worst. My rating would lies between 1.5 - 3. Some of the faculty were not well qualified to teach engineering students. They just completed their engineering and joined as faculty.

Likes

Great staff and lecturers with good knowledge. Very interactive.
Good infrastructure and equipment for learning. Anti ragging campus. Very vast and surrounded by greenery
High amount of opportunities for portfolio development and job searching

Dislikes

Minimum club activities, not active for some time
Can be maintained a bit more for easy functioning.
A lot of input for work and assignments is required.

Placement Experience:

I don't have much idea about the placements.But it's said to be quite good.The companies that visit the campus are well-known and they select the best candidates for the job. My plans after getting a degree is to finish the master's in the same field and then work for some basic experience in the field and to become an entrepreneur in the future. There are many career options that can be considered after finishing a degree from this college.

Life at Woxsen

Likes

Our design faculties are quite supportive
The infrastructure looks amazing, along with great sky

Dislikes

Sometimes the management won't really listen to us
Too many restrictions, almost nothing is allowed

Placement Experience:

The placements depends on the student, Campis does bring some companies, but in the end it's the students portfolio and personality that will grab the opportunity. Campus placements started from 8th semester, we have placement coordinators too. Various companies like oram, micron, flipkart show up for the placements. And the 2023 batch had the average of 6.2LPA. The highest so far has been 13LPA, top 20% avg is 8.8 LPA It keeps on increasing, depending upon the student itself.

Likes

The campus has a lot of greenery which makes it very oeaceful
It is quite and u can see alot of birds and insects
The night life in this campus in great the campus us open till 2 at noght it nakes ot very interesting

Dislikes

We r only allowed to go out on weekends with parent permissions which get annoying sometines coz it can be very hard to get permission from parents
We have a lot of rules that ristrict us from doing a lot of thing we also get fined if we break rules
The campus can be expensive which ks hard as a student

Placement Experience:

There are placements given but we dont preffer to take these as it is not good enough and our faculty encourages us to get our own coz it helps in exposure The salaries can be pretty low compared to other schools like bba Desing is very different it needs both artistic and logical minds as it is subjective and people have diffrent ideologies that makes it hard to fullfil all the requirements

Likes

Faculties mentorship quality on students was sooo good
The subjects we study are so interesting rather than normal colleges
College located at beautiful place where as we easily accessible the metro too

Dislikes

The dogs and cats inside the hostels are discomfort for me

Placement Experience:

They provide very good placement according to our performance in the course The students from nift get placed to famous brands like Raymond,Myntra,ikea and moree We can also start our own brand Internships are also provide by the campus

Course and curriculum is great as it include activities.

Campus Placement opportunity is not good .

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is average as only some companies comes for the placement and approximately half of the student get placed because of campus placement but if the student tries from themself, college tag will help them a lot .

The course away from the "Rat Race", needs to explore!

Placement Experience:

From the 8th semester onwards we are eligible for campus placements. Companies do visit the campus as well as NIFT has a central placement system too in which students can prefer any campus for their campus placements. The salary is not very handsome in the beginning. Usually starts with Rs. 20,000/- per month which is really not an acceptable offer after investing about 15-16 lakhs in the education and getting this amount is not justified. Though there is a need for our college to fix the minimum salary for placement companies. Most students find off campus placements with good packages than on campus placements. One can also go to further study masters in Fashion technology or fashion management. My personal plans are for entrepreneurship in the field of technological advancement in fashion or having my own import export house someday.

Admission:

FDDI is one the premier institution of Fashion Designing in India. To get admission, the student should have completed class 12 or equivalent from any recognized Indian Board. Then the students will have to give the entrance exam FDDI AIST. Based on the merit and the rank, the students will be given the admission.

Best college for design courses

Remarks:

I could say it's the best college in Hyderabad to take up the design courses. The college provide good education apart from that it has guest lectures from the famous people in the industry and exhibitions to show up the students teamwork and strength and self confidence, seminars and workshops where we can learn the new , and find the new. It has digital classroom to enhance the learning and for clarity of the concepts. They even take us for site visits. Learn,create , believe.

Design course in NIFT.

Remarks:

NIFT is a great institute that provides a great education system while training students to their inner selves. All the students coming from vast backgrounds are treated equally well. I always felt that I am different in school but in NIFT I found so many people like me and I could actually found my place that comforted me for life.
