Remarks

There is no bad remark on our college. Educational wise and security wise it is very good college, Management and lectures also very friendly.

Entrance Preview

I did not take any Exams or Interviews. It was a payment seat under management quota . I got good marks in EMCET but my brother incest to join this particular college because of high quality education and security wise.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

As far as the course structure is concerned these subjects help to maintain the perfect knowledge for engineering level. Apart from it , Faculties are highly qualified and they are interested as well to teach. Only the standards are not too much. Many kind of rules are to be followed.

Internships Opportunities

Its good, we have the electives of satellite, image processing, wireless and radar systems. they introduce environmental as a new subject in the 3rd year.

Placement Experience

2

Nothing, they wouldn't provide internships any where. But they are tie up with Jkc to provide the corporate training in the campus, which help us to participate in interviews. Once upon a time placements were best but at my time there are no placements.

College Events

2.5

Celebrated Freshers day, sports day ,celebrated engineers day In the terms of real competition, The college is to called as college because the fest for various events were celebrated from time to time in a proper way, students from different college used to come in a particular manner and participate. labs , sports , debates etc were good and myself won the 1st price in jam sessions and 2nd prize in debate competition.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible for me. I have taken education loan from the bank to pay the college fees. But its not possible for all the poor students for education loan. They provided loans and merit scholarships for students and also they given discounts for poor people.I got 72%.

Fees and Financial Aid

They provided loans and merit scholarships for students and also they given discounts for poor people. I applied OBC scholarship but i don't know what happen i didn't get the scholarship, not only me other students also did not received OBC scholarship.

Campus Life

5

Colleges provide a number of personal, social, health and financial services to students. Learn about the services offered on campus. College life offers you new independence — so it’s up to us to manage your time, take care of our studies and control our finances. Present they don't bother about gender,Previously they few rules are there, there is no talks between two different genders. My college offered students a variety of opportunities to play sports. Learn about the different levels of college sports and find the level that’s right for Us.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostels are good. Fees is also almost good, Middle class student will able to pay that and food was better but need to improve. Hostel Mess is run by the Management . Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian foods are served in the hostel. Mess charges are collected on an annual basis at the time of admission. Parents and guests are allowed to consume food by paying for them. Food was not that much good.

Alumni/Alumna

It was a wonderful experience with my seniors, there were friendly , I learned so many things from they .We learned many important things in the college life only because of our seniors. They taught us how making healthy interaction with everyone in the college plays a significant role in the curriculum. It also helps us to get rid of the homesickness and adjust in the totally new environment of college. Strengthening bond with seniors in the college has inculcated the sense of responsibility.

Exam Structure

Out of 100 marks 80 marks are for externals and 20 marks are for internals. We have 6 subjects and two labs in each semester. The passing of the B.Tech with 40 to 50 percentages is easy, but this percentage will not work in real life so need to prepare for good percentage.

Admission

I did not take any Exams or Interviews. It was a payment seat under management quota . They gave one form to fill up all details like personal and educational details. it was a simple process and they took all my certificates like 10th and intermediate.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty well qualified all are completed their m.tech course in all stream . They were given regular assignments and good guidance in project time. we have well equipped labs and we conducted a robotics workshop for three days, they are provided group discussions in the part of training and placements.

I don't have much idea about the placements. But it's said to be quite good. The companies that visit the campus are well-known and they select the best candidates for the job. My plans after getting a degree is to finish the master's in the same field and then work for some basic experience in the field and to become an entrepreneur in the future. There are many career options that can be considered after finishing a degree from this college.

Placement Experience:

The placements depends on the student, Campis does bring some companies, but in the end it's the students portfolio and personality that will grab the opportunity. Campus placements started from 8th semester, we have placement coordinators too. Various companies like oram, micron, flipkart show up for the placements. And the 2023 batch had the average of 6.2LPA. The highest so far has been 13LPA, top 20% avg is 8.8 LPA It keeps on increasing, depending upon the student itself.

Placement Experience:

There are placements given but we dont preffer to take these as it is not good enough and our faculty encourages us to get our own coz it helps in exposure The salaries can be pretty low compared to other schools like bba Desing is very different it needs both artistic and logical minds as it is subjective and people have diffrent ideologies that makes it hard to fullfil all the requirements

National Institute of Fashion Technology - [NIFT] Hyderabad, Bachelor of Fashion Technology [B.F.Tech] (Apparel Production)
Reviewed on Dec 2, 2024(Enrolled 2021)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best part about the curriculum is multiple internships. Starting out after the second year, we have our textile internship. It spans over two weeks and we are supposed to submit a report and presentation regarding its working and the process flow. After our third year, an apparel internship of 2 months is to be carried out. This is a great experience to truly understand where and how to work in the industry. The last semester is entirely one internship for which different companies such as aditya birla, landmark, decathlon offers and comes to campus for placements. This might be one of the most important parts of the syllabus as it can help shape our entire career. Juries are taken for all these internships which again helps us in remembering everything important regarding the working of the fashion industry. Since our syllabus is regarding apparel production, it is majorly focused on this. This provides us great insight of the working of a textile and apparel factory and about the brands that we shop from. Another part of our syllabus is the inter disciplinary minor where we can learn subjects from other departments from semester 3. Then we have Deepening Specialisation from 3 different options, Production, Technology and Management. This allows us deeper analysis about the core of our subject.

Placement Experience:

On campus placements are not very helpful. It's better if you build a strong portfolio according to your line of interest and search for jobs through connections or on your own. Campus placements are fine but you'll get more and better opportunities if you go out there to find jobs or internships in your own.
