Entrance Preview

After completing my gradution in Bcom Honours. I decided to enroll myself for interior designing course because that is something i was alwayd inrerested in. I am a very creative person and subjects realted to creativity really attracts me alot. The admission wasnt a difficult process to get enrolled.

Internships Opportunities

I have been employed since 5 years now before i could join this course. So i draw a salary. I never actually had to join any company as an intern coz soon after i passed my graduation i got an interview call from one of the placements and I started working full time for a reouted automobile firm. It was an awesome experience joining the first job of my life. After that job i changed almost 3 jobs and finally landed in my dream job where I am working currently.

Placement Experience

As i mentioned earlier though our college is associated with many architecture companies for placements onece their students have successfully passed the course. But i didnt opt for campus recruitment because i was already employed in a good organisation.

College Events

We celebrated freshers party, teachers day, architectural events, diwali, christmas,inter college design competition, exhibitions etc. Almost everybody participates in the events because these are the times that brings everyone together and all of us get an opportunity to know each other dicuss about new inventions and happenings in the architectural field, mutual interests etc.

Exam Structure

Exams happe ed to be really hectic because the subject being designing drafting the layout sketching naming nomencleature everything used to be very time consuming and without a break.

Faculty

Faculty of my college was really helpful and taught each subhect with lot of interest and dedication. All of them belinged to architectural background and hence had a lot of knowledge reagarding design.

Well worth the journey!

Course Curriculum Overview:

Parricularly the modules which focused on animal science & botany, the curriculum was built to learn from basics to the advance level towards research area of biology which impressed me alot. The focus on animal biology, statistics, cell biology & genetics, ecology & wildlife conservation, Immunology & biotechnology leads a foundation to successfully enter the real-world and apply this knowledge for better cause of humans as well as animals. As the therotical teaching method can differ from on-hand experience on field there is a need to improve the course curriculum around this issue. The learning period was designed perfectly in-course of the prepaption time between each test and it wasn't difficult if we are well prepared.

In univeral college from sem 6 students become eligible for campus placements, Name of the companies offered in placement is TATA TCS, Infotech , and etc. Highest package from our college is 10 LPA and average is 3.2 lacs per annum. 20% percent of students successfully get placed in the companies from our placement team. After getting degree i will prefer to study more with MCA two years of course and side by side business & developing webs and applications as this is my passion and motive. i will prefer business Now i am interested in python programming language and JAVA after this React JS, Node JS and PL / SQL + MONGO DB for backend programming which has no user interactions.

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
