Remarks

Overall it is a nice platform exclusively for students pursuing biotechnology and microbiology. Pros - Well equipped labs, skilled faculties. Cons - Campus area, Sports.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college is affiliated with Rajasthan university hence the course curriculum is as same as of the university. the facilities are well experienced and interactive. the well-equipped labs have all general biotechnology instruments. The industry visits once or twice a year are also a part of the curriculum.

Placement Experience

2.5

The placement-cell has been designed exclusively to help the students regarding the placements and timely activities are conducted to enhance the interpersonal skills of the students.

College Events

3

Several inter-college, as well as intra-college events, are held in the college. Namely, WAVES, BIOCHROME, DRISHYAM, DIL DHADAKNE DO, etc. along with these, conferences are held timely and yes... Webinars too. several guest faculties are also invited to conduct seminars.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes. College does provide transparency in the fee breakdown and is payable in installments too. For like MSc the fee is 70000 +15000 (Dissertation) and is payable by either online or offline mode. The fees of admission form and examination form are excluded.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the college provides the scholarship for the students according to the score in the exam conducted for admission (if any). Some concession is provided on some specific cases too.

Campus Life

The biggest drawback of this institute is the campus area as it is smaller than expected. the laboratories are good enough. Another drawback is the lack of proper sports facilities as it should be. Improvements are required on these two areas vigorously.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni meet is conducted every year which creates a friendly environment among the students. Yes, it is helpful.

Admission

Admissions are open generally from June to August-September. I took admission in august 2018 because it is a well-known platform for students pursuing Biotechnology sp. in the Jaipur area. it has good laboratory facilities as well as experienced teaching staff.

Faculty

3.5

There are about 10-12 faculties. all of them are 50 but are PhDs and pretty skilled, interactive, and helpful. they took us to their relatable industrial visits once a while. timely study materials are also provided by the respective faculties to the students.

Placement Experience:

For Master's students, they can start appearing for placement as soon as starting their 2nd Semester. There are lots of opportunities for students to grab a good placement. The average package for Master's can be 6-8LPA while the highest placement last year was 54LPA

Course Curriculum Overview:

- The course curriculum was specifically based on giving more knowledge and insights about the course I chose. I went onto specialization and chose microbiology and learnt that it has various other fields because of the curriculum. - The course and lab prepares well for the real-world applications. - There should have been more hands-on experience with some lab equipments and some teachers should have given more guidance to the students. - Frequency of exams and difficulty level was good. No complaints about that.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement commity is good, there is a dedicated department for campus placement for students depending upon the course you chose if you take Btech, Mtech or MCA its good but if you take M.Sc you have to struggle for placement and even if you get placement you hace to struggle with the package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is updated and is on par with central universities. The curriculum is relevant if you want to make your career in research. More distinct and relevant additional electives could be incorporated into the curriculum as some aren't as relevant as they used to be.
