Remarks

Management was poor but college was god, almost every faculty was available, I would like to mention about our library which were the finest one in state, good campus, located at like a tourist spot place. But these things doesn't make a college the best

Entrance Preview

I could not pass IIT so have to opt a college by RPET. I choose Chemical Engg just because my uncle said, he is a big engineer so may be, he had better knowledge this field and aware of requirement.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was good enough as in First year we had to read all the streams and classes were common for all stream students. later on we were separated for specific studies. We used to has lectures, tutorials, Lab practical and doubt class.

Internships Opportunities

There were no separate internship program for chemical stream, only Computer engineers were privileged with this facility, we had to move out for our internship .Some companies like RAD HAT, INFOSYS and small IT companies were there for comp engg. I completed mine from ONGC Dehradoon both the times. 1st for 30 days and 2nd for 30 days after 5th and 7th semester respectively.

Placement Experience

Placement cell was very poor, saying this is a little contradictory because i got the campus placement but i was among those few only out of 500+ students of my year. Here I want to mention one more thing that we used to think that this placement cell is only for computer engineers and student of other streams are burden on college in terms of placement.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was fixed by the Rajasthan govt, for me it was 43000 per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

yes, it was available for SC-St students. No loan facility available from college side. but college was helpful if you were willing to avail loan for education.

Exam Structure

3 internal tests in a semester, average of best of 2 will be sent to university. Half yearly main university exams. But you know, all internal marks were based on your reputation in eyes of teacher.

Faculty

This was the only negative point of my college, faculty were not experienced as they had mostly just completed engineers as teaches, of course you can get them on low salary. But still some teachers were great and some were with very low IQ.

Placement of my college is decent for technical branches (Cs,It) it has decent but for core branches(petroleum, civil ) it has quite good placements. From 6th semester you are eligible for campus placements. Highest package is 44Lpa and lowest is 3Lpa

The placements cell try their best to get as many students placed as they can.many companies visit us including celebal, tcs and I don't know about the percentage but it's pretty good not everyone will get the placement but yes who have time to their studies will definitely get one.the average package is around 5lakh per anum ctc it can go upto 25 to 30.lakh based on your knowledge entirely

A complete average College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

A balanced blend of learning , growth , and opportunity at GMEC Ajmer

Placement Experience:

Campus palcements at GMEC Ajmer are quite good, especially foe CSE and core branches. Students become eligible for placement grom the 7th semester, and many companies visted the campus every year. Some of the prominent recruiters includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys, capgemini, cognizantand tech mahindra among others. Highest package varies every year (in 2025 it goes to 13 lpa) Average package: Ranges between 3.5 to 5 lpa Approxi,ately 80-85 5 of eligible students got placed, especially those from technical backgrounds with good coding and communication skills. Some students also go for off-campus drives or pursue higher studies like M.Tech or MBA. As for my plans, after completing the degree, I aim to either get placed in a reputed IT company or pursue higher studies depending on the opportunities available and personal career goals.

The world's best college

There was first class in infrastructure. Wi-fi, lab, smart boards, and all the necessary equipments are available in this institution. They are providing very best in classroom.
