Entrance Preview

Entrance exam was SET. The college is a reputed one. Very good faculty.Overall a great college. Symbiosis college is well known across the globe has a great brand image.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum was well define. computer science was the major subject. First year consisted other subjects like maths and electronics. second year was focused on computer science.

Internships Opportunities

Internship was good . I did it for a hospital . Implement hospital management system for them. It was a great experience to do that internship. The college supported it as well.

Placement Experience

College organized placement drives and some companies came for placement as well. The name of the colleged is a famous one. So it is easy to find a job even after the college via offcampus placements.

Exams are conducted by pune university. The structure and papers are set by pune university only. The exams are standard and world wide accepted.

AMU- why and why not

The only reason i went for multimedia course was becoz of their syllabus shown in their offical website. the course include programming ,ui/ux, graphics etc. teaching is okish but enough to understand the topics

My Journey

Placement Experience:

From semester 6, students are eligible to apply for the placements. I am not sure about the placements and the starting salary for it as of now. My plans after getting a BA psychology degree would be to apply for masters. I'd love to pursue Industrial Psychology in the future. And I wish to study it in Canada or Europe hopefully.

The college is good only on terms of faculty. Rest like placements, job opportunities and course structure is very bad. If further anyone wants to make a career in Economics. Please don't take admission in this college. As they don't have the most important subjects needed in the Economics career and further studies.

The best kind of experience including academic and personal development.

I had given entrance for Fergusson I was selected but Symbiosis was an ideal college for me as it was near to my house and one of the top-ranked colleges of Pune. No there was no quota for the General category. The admission process was done in three parts according to the cut-off percentage which was provided there. Fill the admission form, keep visiting the website and you will get a confirmation email that you are qualified. Be ready with the document, it might become hectic as the network wasn't good there so only online payment was received in the admission portal by filling your form entirely by yourself in the IT department. A journey of Great Experiences

The admission process was very easy. I applied to quite a few colleges before coming to Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce. The selection is based on Merit. They release their cut off lists and if you happen to be in that list you have secured the admission. I did not availed for any quota. The admission criteria for Honours Programme is that the student has to secure minimum 60% for BA students while it's 65% for Bcom students in their first year.
