Architectural dream becoming true

The University is a vast mass of land situated in a very aesthetic place making it just the right place for being at a peace of mind and getting creative. This architecture course is an integrated specially designed curriculum by the council of architects (COA), Delhi.

The curriculum gives equal importance to design as well as theory. As architecture students it is important for us to get exposed to designs of various styles. The design paper is part of the syllabus for all the 10 semester (it is an integrated architecture course, hence 5 years).

Some of the top companies visiting here are Tech Mahindra, L&T infotech and Potech. The university ensures great training of the students in all aspects. The students of architecture get internships in various well known firms.

The important fests are Technical yantra, a tech-based fest for all the disciplines in the university, Cultural malhar, the cultural extravaganza, and sports maidan, the literal sports event, these are all inter college events.

The fee per year for B.Arch is 1,27,00 which makes a total of Rs. 6,35,000 for the five years altogether. This is an integrated course. Students can avail educational loans in case of facing any difficulties in paying the loan.

Extracurricular activities at the university include workshops on designs (the modern and ancient architecture), seminars from experienced professionals, site visits in a regular basis to know about the modern world requirements.

The hostel here at the campus is safe and secure, about 600 students are accommodated in here with all the essential facilities. We have access to the TV room, Gym and other facilities. The mess is clean and hygienic.

NATA score is the first and foremost eligibility of a candidate applying for B.Arch in here. I got a aggregate of 70% in my boards, the minimum is 50% and 45% for backward classes. For those who have completed diploma the aggregate is 50%.

The faculty here are multi-talented, guiding us in all the aspects, it is a group dynamic, young and experience staff members from whom we get to learn a lot. They are approachable at any point of the time.
