My review on Starex University

The University is a vast, 40 acre land. It has multiple disciplines like humanities, technology, science etc., excelling in all of them. The University is a UGC, PCI grants university. It has tie ups with the government in forming startups too.

The curriculum is a very well-constructed, student-oriented curriculum, the regular classes are very informative and I never miss attending them. There are various other resources from where we could learn like the library, which has modern learning methods such as the DELNET, OPAC (online public access catalog)- a database of the study material available for easy accessibility.

About 140+ corporate companies visit Starex University for placement drive. This institute has a record for placing nearly 100% of its students. The students are placed in renown companies with a minimum salary of Rs 25,000. I'm not aware of any internship offers by the University so far.

Starex celebrates all the fests alike for instance the "Sarvdharm pooja" is a secular festival celebrating all the cultures, the "Milan samarah" event for the social workers and "Shaheed diwas" for the free fighters. Apart from these the university also organizes dance, singing and other fun events.

The fee structure for B.com per year is Rs. 60,000 which for the three years sums up to 1,80,000. The University also offers integrated courses like B.com + B.Ed (Four years altogether) for which the total fee is Rs. 2,00,000 (Rs. 50,000 per year).

The University is ready to provide scholarships to students who either belong to economically weak backgrounds or with meritorious excellence in studies. Students also have the choice to pay their fees in installments or avail education loans.

The University apart from great sports facilities has a great gym with modern equipment available fro both hostelers and day scholars. We get to learn and spend time on research in the highly efficient labs of the university, there are various labs for each discipline.

The hostel is spacious, home-like and peaceful. Food and snacks are provided, multicultural menu is followed. Boys and girls have separate hostels, both AC and Non-AC rooms are available, laundry service is available but optional, a 24/7 electricity and water supply. Medical facility is available for staffs and students who live on campus.

Every candidate goes through an interview before admissions, there's an entrance test too. Questions are really simple and straight forward, just to check how much you are passionate towards the course. The minimum aggregate score in the board should be 45% , the process is quite simple, you just need to register online on the institute's website and send back the hard copy within the end date along with the application fee.
