This institute was established in 1965 and comes under central government. The institute is involved in research and development in field of designing, construction and rehabilition of structures.The institute providesservices including design consultancy and proof checking.

Course Curriculum Overview

M.tech. in renewable energy course duration of 2 years and P.hd. in renewable energy course duration of 3 years are available. The courses are very much research based. All the courses are approved by AICTE.

Placement Experience

Job ooprtunities are in the field of lecturership, advanced material for sustainable structures, disaster mitigation, structural health monitoring and life extension, computational structural mechanics, bridge engineering.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is very affordable. Also research followers are provided monthly stipends. Hostel and mess facility are very good. One can also live outside the campus. you have interest in the field of structural research then this is the best place for you.

This is one of the india's finest research institutes which comes under council of scientific and industrial research. Admission process is smooth. One has to show bachelor certificates with required marks to complete the admission process.

The faculty members are very cooperative. They are one of the best faculty members in their respective specializations. Prof. santosh kapuria is the director of the institute who is very experienced. Dr. Harsh vardhan, minister of human welfare is the current vice president.

For final year students placements are eligible. I didn't get the chance for placements in this college but some small startups visited this college for placements 2 students got placed in the company with 10000 monthly package

In this college I'd completed my B.Tech in Mechanical engineering and my home is near to the college. The progress in previous and upcoming respective year is Excellent. So I prefer to do M.Tech from here.

Candidates who have completed BE or B.Tech in relevant discipline are eligible to join ME course. Admission to ME program is given on the basis of GATE/ TANCET scores. I got selected on the basis of my GATE score.

I wrote the VITMEE exam as I am taking admission for MTech and I got a rank of 1100, I should attend the counselling in Vellore campus I couldn't because of some issues then administrative people from Chennai called me and I got the seat in category 1.

Awesome Colledge!!

Remarks:

I did my B.E in a college in my own state of rank 11th in the state. But, i can say proudly that my M.E college was far better than that. I did visualize that the college gives every thing to students. Studies/Fun/Communications an they were up to the mark of IIT's, i guess.
