GDC Kottayam is a very well developed college

The college provides a wide range of social activities for the enjoyment of the students. Recently a medical college premier league was organised which was a cricket match. All of these events help the students to cope up with their personal bad experience and enjoy the college life. This is the most positive thing about our college. It highly appreciate its students and always take care of the personal growth of the students.

I have even completed my bachelors in dental surgery from the same college. Previously also the course curriculum of the college was very thoroughly based on research and development by the teaching faculty of our college. Now also in the master's degree the course curriculum is thoroughly based on research and knowledge of the teaching faculty. The course is very detailed and up to the mark.

Our teachers and lecturers work very hard for the development of the students and because of this hard work all of the students gain good employment opportunities after graduating from of the college. Internship is also provided from our college after the end of the bachelors in dental surgery program. I also went through my internship and also got a stepind.

The fee structure of our colleges is very average and according to the norms of the other dental colleges present in the country but because of the interference of the government in the administration of our college the fee is quite low according to all of the other high fee of dental colleges across India. I highly recommend the college if you are a middle class students and don't want to spend too much on the fee.

Recently, a seminar was arranged on the Corona virus and its precaution by doctor Sajith Kumar who is a HOD of our college. Similarly, many other seminars and talks are regularly introduced at our college for the betterment of the students. Also an international sports fest was organised recently. A research methodology workshop was organised. Sometimes yoga day is also celebrated at our college and one of the most talked about event recently was the demonstration class on self defence techniques.

Two hostels are present in our college. One for the ladies and one for the men. Both of the hostels are well equipped with furniture which are essential for the students if they are staying in a room. The college buildings are very big and can accommodate upto 500 students each. Mess facilities are also provided at the college with healthy food options.

Getting admission in the college was a very smooth and a simple procedure because I have already completed my bachelors in dental surgery so it was not a big deal for me to get admission in the masters of dental surgery. I just completed my BDS and fill out the admission form for MDS through the official website of the college. And because of my good academic result my name was included in the merit list of the college. Finally I then went in the college campus with my important documents to confirm my admission and pay my fee.

I am really thankful towards our principal that is Professor Doctor Beena VT. She is a very soft spoken and polite person, I have personally met my principal and and I till date respect her so much. Apart from it, all of our lecturers and professors are very educated and have experience of almost 10 to 15 years in teaching their respective subjects.
