Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of our college is in line with the national standard of medical education. Clinical exposure, lab based tests and theoretical classes are well balanced as a part of curriculum. Exams are held annually. The 5 years curriculum is divided into various phases with exams at the end of each phase.
Placement Experience
Placement rate is good. The college has its own 850 bed hospital attached to the campus. Students can get placement there as well as at various government and private colleges. Internship is offered by the college's hospital. The internship is in the form of rotational internship. Many of my seniors have got placement in private hospitals that have great reputation. Some of the students have even cleared government exams like UPSC's Combined Medical Services exam.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee is higher as it is a private college. For management quota the fee goes even higher as donation money is charged over and above the normal fee. I paid around 6 lakhs as first year fee. In case of direct admission one has to pay around 6-10 lakhs plus donation at the time of admission. The fee is to be paid annually.
Fees and Financial Aid
Education loan facility can be easily availed. I myself applied for education loan. I got my loan sanctioned from SBI bank where I showed admission letter as proof. Scholarships are also offered by state government and central government. Scholarships offered by philanthropic trust can also be availed by eligible students.
Campus Life
As such not many extra-curricular activities happen in our college but there is ground for sports and recreational activities. Lab infrastructure is quite good. We have access to the hospital (college's hospital) labs where pharmacological tests of patients are done. Class rooms are also well built and are equipped with latest teaching instruments like smart classes.
Admission
This is a privately funded college that takes admission based on NEET entrance exam and management quota as well. I took admission on merit based criteria through NEET as I had a good score. On Management quota seats hefty donations are asked for. A total of 150 seats are there of MBBS in our college.
Faculty
Faculty is High qualified. Majority of the faculty members are professional serving doctors in the hospital attached to the college. Wether it is theory classes, lab or clinical exposure the faculty at our college helps us to grasp things in the easiest of the manner. They are quite cooperative and helpful.
