A good B.tech college in Bareilly

The college is good either it is academics or co-curricular, the infrastructure of the college and facilities provided are also quite good. The teachers were also quite supportive and seniors also helped us sometimes. We enjoyed the whole time we spent in college.

All the B.tech courses in college are affiliated to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, which is a quite renowned university of the state. The syllabus is also quite good covering all subjects required to strengthen the basics, and examinations are held in December for odd semester and May-June for even semesters. Internals are also arranged by the college twice per semester.

The placements from the college are good. Throughout the year, there are multiple opportunities apart college placements also, like TCS Codevita, TNQT, InfyTQ in which you can apply if you have gained a good knowledge of programming.

The fee for B.tech CSE was quite feasible, was around Rs. 70,000. One can also apply for Tuition Fee Waiver, though there are very few seats for it in college. According to me, the fee is fine as many colleges charge more than 1.5lakh per year for B.tech CSE.

The college actively participates in extracurricular activities, especially sports. The college library is equipped with a good amount and variety of technical books, and also the labs are equipped with proper systems, where we can practice well, usually students bring their own laptops so they can carry their work with them.

I got admission in this college through UPTU entrance exam, I was able to take admission in this college based on the rank of my UPTU exam. After successful seat allotment, I got a reporting date and letter to visit the college and proceed with my admission. I had to submit a portion of the fee in the form of a draft, at time of admission. After document verification, I had to go through a small interview, as part of the process to ensure my admission in the college.

The faculty is quite skilled and intellectual in their subjects of teaching, the teachers who took our labs periods were also quite helpful and friendly. The faculty also helped and motivated us in empowering us to become better programmers.
