The aim of the college is to make every student excel in all sphere of life with a focus on attitude building and personality development of students for provision of excellent quality patient care.One of the best Nursing college in Southern India.

All the classrooms are very spacious and well ventilated with latest Audio Visual Equipment along with Good Lab Facilities for demonstration. The nursing college has exclusive computers that can be used by nursing students for computing facilities. A well known foundation in basic and applied research the College of Nursing has successfully established in 2008 a central research department for the welfare of research activities,

The placements cell is improving by the day Students coming from different backgrounds are given placement training so that they can reach their dreams come true. Internships are also provided to give the students practical training.

All festivals and National Holidays are celebrated with great fervour. College life is fun and the hostel life has its own charm. The college hosts Students Day to showcase their artistic skills and co-curricular talents. The ON stage events like Dance ,Light Music (Vocal and Instrumental), are conducted both for boys and girls. Apart from these other events on the day of Independence day, Republic day, Pongal, Diwali are also Celebrated. Many more cultural activities are also conducted from time to time.

The fees is affordable and there is not much pressure on your pocket. B.Sc Nursing is a 4 yrs course so the fees has to be paid year wise.The fees for each year is 17,500/- and it is a full time regular course in the General category.

Students take active part in all the sports activities to keep themselves mentally and physically fit. The Basket Ball, Volley Ball and Cricket tournaments are held at the State level and have won quite a few prizes adding credit to the college reputation. Recreational activities are held indoors as well outdoors.

There is a separate wing for girls and the room is furnished with a single bed, desk, Lamp, Wardrobe and bookshelves with good ventilation and lighting.There is a separate mess for Boys and girls and the food is prepared very hygienically and no compromise is made on the quality and the quantity of the food for the students and the staff.

The college is very proud of the Alumni Association and has an objective to organize an annual reunion. Small informal group meetings are held at the campus.Meetings are attended by the former students.

The eligibility criteria for the under Graduate course the candidate should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board or equivalent with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with minimum 40% aggregate marks .The SC/ST candidates should have an aggregate of 35%

All the faculty members of the Institute of all the departments are well qualified, experienced and very supportive and always willing to impart Knowledge and skills emphasizing on all round development so as to prepare them to undertake bigger challenges and responsibilities in life.
