Remarks

SIBM is located at main location in Ahmedabad, the financial capital of Gujarat.The MBA program is affiliated to Gujarat Technical University with an intake of 120 students and is duly approved by AICTE.

Course Curriculum Overview

The institute has designed MBA program in such a way so as to create a blend of education coupled with industrial learning. Following specializations are available in the second year of course:- financial, marketing management, managemant of information technology, human resource management.

Placement Experience

Placements are carried out in fields of consultancy, manufacturing, finance, advertising, media bank, infrastructure etc. Companies are coca cola, tata consultancy.ONGC, adani group etc that come every year to recruit deserving candidates.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is quite affordable. The hostels are provided with all the required facilities and mess food is also quite good. One has to spend around 1.5 lakhs per annum to complete the course. So in total one has to spend around 3 lakhs.

Campus Life

There are various events and cultural functions held throughout the year since these have now become an integral part of curriculum. The activities include quiz, treasure hunt, dancing, singing, rangoli making, photography contest etc.

Admission

I cleared CMAT examination which is held every year in the month of May. To complete the admission process one has also to submit recognized bachelor's degree of min 3 years of duration with at least 50% in the qualifying examination. Admission process is carried out by Gujarat Technical University.

Faculty

The faculty members are very good and well qualified. Prashanti Kothari, Rahul Dwivedi, Rakesh Sarvaiya, Poonam Mehta, Palak Patel, Anjani Kumari are the names of assistant professors. Mr. Suresh R patel is the director of the institute. All are well experienced in their specializations.

MICA: Not your average b-school

Here the placement are provided by the CDC, the career development centre and the placements here are on an average good and the support provided by the placement team is also good. Here. You can apply for the finance and for the marketing, but as well as the HR is concerned. You can also look for some other colleges because here companies are not very much concerned for HR.

About the placement procedure, from the very first Trimester we are being prepared for aptitude tests,Group Discussion rigorously and mostly after our 4th Trimester we get eligible for our placement right after our internship duration and we are being prepared very well for placement season and encouraged for the same. Few of the companies visited EY from the big four then Zomato Alumni's etc., no of companies till now came for placement are 100+ and for different roles also. Highest pacakge is of 12 Lakh CTC.
