Remarks

Infrastructure of our college is awesome. The kitchen labs, bakery and confectionary, houdekeeping, laundry, front office are all well maintained.Our institute is located in Bhamboli, Yamunagar which is 40 kilometers away from Ambala.

Course Curriculum Overview

B.sc. in hospitality and hotel management program is a 3 year degree course. Course is designed in such a way so as to give the students all the required assets and knowledge to work in hospitality field. Also the program contains all necessary lab works. There are six semesters and exams are held at the end of every semester.

Placement Experience

Hotels and resorts like The westin, Hyatt Palace, The Leela, Vivanta by taj, Claridges, The Lalit, Radisson blu, Hilton garden are regular visitors for placements. They also provide internship offers to the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

During first semester i had to pay around 64000 rupees as institute fee after which 40000 per semester has to be paid. Hostel and mess fee is about 25000 rupees per semester. You have to confirm hostel facility within 3 days of allotment of seat by NCHMCT. The hostels have a peaceful and clean environment.

Campus Life

The library is fully air conditioned and can accomodate more than 80 students at a time. There are separate labs for kitchen, front office, computers etc. Various seminars and workshops are held frequently to develop proper skills in students.

Admission

I got admission in this college through NCHM JEE exam conducted by National testing agency every year in the month of april. To complete the admission process one has also to submit pass certificate of 10+2 or equivalent examination. The admission process is very smooth.

Faculty

The institute has a well qualified and experienced team of faculty who are very dedicated towards their work. They are always ready to help the students in each and every step be it placements, seminars, workshops. They are always ready to solve the doubts of students.

Placement Experience:

The Placements at our college is quite impressive. The college has a dedicated placement cell that works tirelessly to ensure that each and every student should get their job. last year, our college achieved a placement percentage of over 95% , with many students, securing jobs in top Hotels and retails. The highest package that has been offered till now as 3,20,000 per annum and the average package is 2,60,000 per annum. After getting my degree, I will surely go to the Hotels and will showcase my skills and knowledges which will help me to grow as well as improve my abilities and skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculty to student ratio was 1:6. There were 60 students in all and the total number of faculty was 10 for our UG course. If I include diplomas and other courses that were offered, the number of faculty was 30. They were all quite experienced as hiring teachers at IHM was tougher than hiring students.

Hospitality is an interesting job.

I applied in the Institute of hotel management yamunanagar. And I was not attending the college in the last semester due to the Covid-19. In this admission criteria, the minimum marks is 50 percent and age 18+. The admission process is clearing the exam of NCHMCT then on the basis of rank the colleges are alloted to all the students.
