My college experience

The college is situated in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. The college is beautiful in view and as well as with the various useful facilities it provides to the students who have just completed their school studies.

The University 's major research is focused on rice, horticultural crops, fish production, tools and implements development, post harvest technology, kharland reclamation, soil and water conservation, soil management and animal production. The research work is being undertaken through state and central government sponsored research projects. The course is of four years duration.

Our college provides internships to students to enhance their career and bring it to a better point. Students can opt for higher studies after completing their particular course or go for the option of working. Students are required to maintain attendance and good marks in their respective subject as it will be on the good side for the internships.

At the end of every semester, there is a student gathering which is enthusiastic. Sports are held within the campus to keep up the spirits of the students and at the same time, provide them a platform to bring out their talents. Other than this, Fresher's day and farewell day is celebrated which is mandatory.

The fees structure of our college for this particular diploma course is Rs. 9425/- per year which is nearly 10k in one year. That is amounting to 20k in two years, which is affordable. Incase if one finds it unaffordable, then he/she can go for the option of taking an educational loan.

As much information I have gained till now, the college doesn't provide any scholarship or loan facility for its students. In case, if a student is not financially stable, then he/she can opt for the option of taking an educational loan which will be consented by the Principal through his/her signature.

The college prohibits ragging and is strict against any kind of sexual exploitation withing college premises. It protects the worth and dignity of every student in respect to caste, religion, race etc. The college has sports facilities who keeps the students' mind fresh to cope up with the day to day pressure.

Our college provides hostels facilities for both boys and girls, that too, separately. The facilities are - good food, clean and safe water for drinking, electricity and internet facility which all are very important. Hostel fees are calculated separately from course fees.

Seniors are a helping hand in every college. So it is the same in our college too. They interact with their juniors on daily basis and help them to solve their problems as well as guide them. The network is wide and strong which is very beneficial for the college.

The student must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. Students need to go to the college's website to get the application form for admission which needs to filled up accordingly. Students will get selected according to the merit list.

All the respective teachers and professors affiliated to each of the particular course, are skilled and trained in their respective fields which help them to provide their students with an in depth knowledge of the course. A lot of patience is an amazing quality of all the teachers.
