My PGDM Review

ISTTM college has a pretty decent curriculum that is centered around the financial sector, primarily. The dual specialization program really allowed us to to be specialized in two different areas of management. Over a period of four semesters, we learned subjects like business management, economics, financial management, human resource management, operations, etc. The last two semesters include a blend of specialization subjects and additional subjects that were common for the students of all stream.

Our college has a pretty decent placement record. Almost 80% of the students were placed before the final exams. While some other students either went for their family business or personal ventures. During my batch, companies like Axis Bank, Airtel, Amul, and Apollo Hospital led the placement drives organized at our campus. The highest package offered went as high as 6-7 LPA and the average package is around INR 3 LPA.

Numerous events and activities are organized throughout the year at the ISTTM campus. The session starts with the orientation day as the first event to be organized. Numerous other events like teachers' day, sports day, Gandhi Jayanti, and endless festive celebrations are celebrated with the utmost joy. Annual day is one of the most important events which is celebrated at the founders' Day of the college.

My annual fee was around 2.25 Lacs per year which was to be paid on a semester-wise basis. This fee included my tuition fee, registration fee, examination fee, caution fee, etc. In total, I paid around 5 lacs for the entire course which was pretty nominal for an MBA program. Apart from that, there were no hidden charges.

ISTTM college offers admission on the basis of the CAT exam which is a management-level entrance exam conducted for the admissions to the Business programs. Students qualifying the entrance exam are invited to attend the counseling process organized by the college. After that, the admission process is pretty smooth and the entire administration was very supportive throughout the admission process.

Faculty members are good, especially for the finance and operation area. Every concept is taught based on case studies. Our corporate cell invites the industry experts of different subjects so that we can relate theoretical concepts to practical scenarios. In that way, we would also get industry exposure and it also helped to stay abreast of the latest industry updates.
