I has good marks in my college. Everytime i take above grade A

Course Curriculum Overview

Its was not easy not too difficult. The questions based on current affairs, general knowledge, history, politics, sports, cultures etc. Some mentally challenged questions also asked. It was little bit difficult. But i answered all the questions.

Placement Experience

Placements happens in our college once per year. All the final year students in various departments attend the interview

College Events

There are many events celebrated in our college. All the departments like Mech, Civil, CSE, ECE, EEE, Auto, Aero celebrates their own function named as Symposium or Conference. Commen events like Sports day, Arts Day, College Day, Graduation Day happens in our college every year

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is not too feasible not too expensive. I have to pay Rs. 40000 per year and also extra Rs. 10000 for books, uniform, notes and other sports expenses. Also there are some more fees have to pay for Department Symposium, College Day, Exam fees etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not opted for any scholarship or any educational loan. Scholorship for engineers only for first graduate.

Campus Life

In our college the strength for boys is larger than strength for girls. In my mechanical department final year class, there are 136 boys and there is no girls. Since Royal Mech is only for boys. There are more girls in CSE department. The overall gender ratio between boys and girls is about 3:2

Hostel Facilities

No I not opted for Hostel. Because the distance between College is less than 10 km. So I'm a day scholor. Our hostel is very clean and has more space. Our hostel friends has discussed with us. Food from the hostel mess is also not bad

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Yes there are some alumini members. All the passed out guys from each year they contribute for the college

Admission

I go to counselling to Chennai for studying BE mechanical engineering. I want nearby college. Also i want the college were sports also important. So i selected Maria college of engineering and technology. I got thourough merit list at the time of entrance

Faculty

The number of lectures in mechanical department is 18. There are 15 lectures in Computer Science Engineering department. 17 lectures in Civil Engineering department. 12 lectures in Electrical & Communication Engineering Department. 10 lectures in EEE department. All the staffs are friendly to us

My Review

Mcet is one of the college witch started in the mid of 2000-2005, I choosen ECE as it has the combination of Technical and Communication papers. I do not entertain people to join this college since it gives nothing other than collecting your fees. They will show case students who got ranks only because of their hardwork and with fake placement detailing. I did not ask anybody before joining the college and later I regretted but now I have secured a job in IT sector and getting enough pay to live....Read More
