Course Curriculum Overview

4

Anna University is the best university in my view. They have a good syllabus and choice of electives. They follow strict standards and procedures. Exams are up to the scale and punctual. Labs are pretty good for scoring good marks.

Placement Experience

0.5

In our time there were no great placements taken place but I think they are doing great now a days, I don't have a great idea about the present scenario. There was only one or two placement drives occurred.

College Events

0.5

Every year all the departments conducts a technical fest or a national level conference on various topics. National level conferences seems to be great events, many students, teachers and other people participates in the same and present there papers. We have got great judges to evaluate the section.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There are thouree kind of seats available. First one is for the students who attend anna university counseling and get admission to the college, they have a very low fees. Second category is where I belong to, who gets seat due to the merit achieved. We pay a moderate amount as fees. And the last category is NRI seats, where they give donation and pay a big amount as fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know anything about this. I heard some students saying that they are getting certain scholership from the government, but I don't know any details about the same. In my knowledge, education loan can be taken from the banks and college will give support.

Campus Life

4

In all the departments except mechanical and electrical, girls dominate in numbers. Our college focus on academic skill development, so other activities are limited. We have a basket ball team for boys and volleyball team for girls. No politics are encouraged in the campus. And students are kept in great desipline

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is quite weak. We don't have an active alumni group, only an official one from college is available. Students are from various parts of the world, but don't show any interest in meetups.

Admission

I always wanted to join an engineering college and I got a seat in the merit basics. I applied for ECE but got admission in CSE as the college has more seats in that department. CS was a good choice for me, as

Faculty

5

Each and every faculty is qualified and have great knowledge about what they teach. Very hardworking and supporting staff. They provided print out notes other than the text books. Teachers conducted exams in every first hour and evaluated the performance.

In my college, on campus placement opportunitiesd for core biotechnology and life science fields were quite limited, While there were placement drives conducted during the final year, the majority of companies that visited were from IT, customer support, and non-core sectors, which weren't directly relevant to the field of biotechnology.
