Overall, this college is one of the best college in Madurai it is under anna university they are good in academics and also in sports and other extracurricular activity hostel facilities are also available and many buses more than 25 available to cater students from different areas. We had many university rank holders concluding it is a pleasant experience to study there for 4 years.

I scored 70% in my 12th std and wanted to join Instrumentation and control engineering. SIT is the one of the few colleges in madurai with this option, Instrumentation and control engineering,I attended Anna university TNEA exams and through councelling i selected this college.

I don't know about current status we dint have internship offers those day in recent days i believe that these would have changed. Usually the salary for the placed persons will be ranging from 280000 P.A to 300000 P.A.

There is a separate cell for placement and the placement coordinator arranges placement training. They bring in peoples from outside institutions and train all the eligible students regarding Aptitude, Vocabulary and all the other skills essential for placement. We had many campus interviews. Few among them are Tessolve, Satyam, Zebronics, Igate. More than 100 students got placed.

We have conducted symposiums, seminars- Inter college level events. We have celebrated Women's day, Annual day, College day and so on. There will be various activities happens in the auditorium and prizes will be distributed to all winners.

The fees is feasible I went through anna university counselling we paid 50000 per year the hostel fees is around 15000 P.A and the transportation changes will be collected every year with the fees.

One of my friend availed education loan from bank as i din't avail any of these i have no idea on the scholarship and loan facility. I believe they will be having these facilities now.

Campus is very vast and spacious we have lots of sports activities and there is communication practical lab too gender ratios are almost like 50:50. In Instrumentation we had like 50 :30 and Mechanical dept is 100% Boys. There will be hostel day celebrated every year and some activities will be also conducted. Basically a muslim college, but all caste and religion people study no discrimination. Economic status is also like mixed. From poor to rich student belong to different classes.

Hostel rooms are clean with good space food is also ok water purification plant is there hot water facility available 24 hours coffee vending machine and a store is available with all essential stuffs.

But there is an alumini for passed our students i personally don't have any experience to share. The have pakka database of all passed out students we get frequent mails regarding the same.

Every week we will be having 2 lab classes. Class tests are conducted after every unit we also had library classes everyweek they have a big library with a huge collection of books.

There are many faculties available in each department they have a minimum qualification of M.E. All faculty are well educated and well behaved and kind every department there will be minimum of 10 faculties.
