Remarks

Well our college is not perfect and it is in a developing stage as we have got our new library and computer lab but we still need to work on to bring some other facilities also like WiFi and sports ground but still i would say that our college stands among top three Law college in Rajasthan we Learn for knowledge not for marks.

Entrance Preview

After my 12th i decided to choose law as my career because i wanted to make a change in the society and since a society is governed by law so its better to make a change by participating and interpreting it in a beneficial manner so i gave CLAT which is an entrance test for 5 year integrated law course. I took admission in S.S. Jain Subodh Law College as because of infrastructure was better in comparison to other college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The syllabus is not really well-planed as some important subjects will be taught in the later semesters like C.P.C., Cr.P.C. etc. so its been quite difficult for students to get job done in their internships as they have not been touched these important subjects so this make quite difficult in getting internships also.

Internships Opportunities

Yes our college recommends name of students to some NGO's like PUCL, NHRC, CUTS etc advocates and Law Firms like P.K. Associates and Mr. Devesh Bansal (Advt,) etc as according to the interest of the students. College also provide recommendation letters to the students as it increase the chances of students getting an internship from some reputed firms and companies.

Placement Experience

3

Our first batch of college will pass out in december 2016 so It is very early to say about the placements but college is trying really hard to place us in some reputed law firms and companies. A placement cell is in working to provide us job opportunities and to have some pre-placements also.

College Events

3.5

Our college is among the top law colleges in rajasthan we have hosted some seminars in the past related to Women empowerment and related issues which got a nice response as students from all over India participated our college also seeks to host a national MOOT court Competition in near future. We also organised freshers, and different co-curricular activities timely.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee-structure is feasible as it is only Rs. 33,000 per semester which is very economical in comparison to the fee structure of other college for example in jaipur national University the fees increased by Rs. 10,000 every year the hostel and mess facility is also provided at very economical price so it is very viable for every student the college is run by S.S. Jain Subodh Samiti which acts as a trustee for our college and our college is affiliated with rajasthan University so the fees is very economical and above it if you get a scholarship it will adds to your pocket. The college has Three year law course for which the fees for the first year is Rs. twenty two thousand and fir second and third year it is Twenty four thousand rupees which is also feasible in comparison to the facilitates provided by college the college also charge Three Thousand Rupees as Caution Money at the time of admission in college (which is Refundable) it applicable to both Five Year and Three Law Courses. The fees is payable only by the way of Demand Deposit (D.D.) good thing at the time of admission college provides a tie and a bag also which is hologramed with Subodh Law College's Emblem. For examination forms the fees is classified differently as according to the semester and as according to the year which is not much in comparison to Private Colleges and Universities.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no scholarship or loan facility run by college themselves but the college managements makes the students aware about the schemes run by govt for ex- Students has make the use of minority scholarship scheme and also schemes related to ST's and Sc's. A student can get scholarship upto Rs. 25.000 by availing these schemes.

Campus Life

3

The best part of college is that one can find students from every sphere from every religion, caste etc, so its been a good experience to learn about them or to learn from them. Its Good to have diversities around you as they help you in learn many things at a single place. The Bad thing about the college is that there no canteen in our college. We have to walk out of college to meet out hunger. Another one is that there is no ground to play any sport which is the saddest part. But we use our parking as Volleyball court.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The bad part of college is the hostel facilities and mess food there are some issues in the hostel like cleanliness, electricity back-up, proper infrastructure to accommodate students. Mess food is the big issue with the hostilities as the food finishes before it makes. The quantity of food is not properly match with the quantity of students. Sometimes some students have to compromise with their hunger. Though Warden is Quite friendly and allow students to go outside for genuine reason even at late nights.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are always ready to help on any issue either related to studies or some extra curricular work. Especially Super Seniors( VIII-Semester) are very much helpful as the got abundance of knowledge and experience of working with some good name in the field every student respect them and every faculty bless them.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is well planned with 10 semesters as we have to give exams in the gap of 6 months for each semesters we also have weekly test series which help us in to go with the flow of studies and and not to burdened with studies at the time of final exams. Before going up for final exams we also have to face Pre-semester exams as they make an average for our internals including those of weekly test marks our test is organised on thursday so It doesn't ruined our weekends and help us to go on Sunday with a chilling and relaxing mood our Pre-semester exam and final exams are conducted in a manner that we don't get any holiday or a gap between two subjects so for some it is quite hectic as they have to study without any gap or they dint get any time to revise properly on the other hand it is quite a fun for some as the exam gets over in only 5 days. so we dint have to sit all month long and give papers. Since our College is affiliated with Rajasthan University so we have to face the problem of schedule of our exams as university always conduct our exams so late that we dint left with much time for internships. This is the biggest loophole of the examination structure and so it follows in result also as we get the delayed result with not proper marking, so again we have to waste our time in revaluation of our copies.

Faculty

4

The present faculty in the college is quite learned and interested in teaching and encourage students participation and interact with students in regular intervals in order to solve their queries. Most of the faculties are specialised in a particular area and have their NET cleared.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Thr curriculum is designed in a way as a usual law college but the benefit of this college is that we have legal aid clinic , which the students have the opportunity to join. In curriculum we also have variety of electives till 4th yearof college. Which i think is good as students might get the opportunity to explore other subjects related to law and not related to law. The exams are held twice a semester and the difficulty level depends upon the faculty setting the question paper. Usually the difficulty level is of othe law universities. For improvement wise i dont have any suggestions

Placements from the campus for law students is not that good and honestly I don't think the student should rely on the campus placements instead they can participate in different events and improve their CV for getting a good job . The internships play a vital role in the career of a law students . Law students mainly focus on the judiciary exams and if not that then they can go for the corporate sector or litigation after that . Else they can also prepare for other exams such as UPSC or also go for higher education
