Remarks

There were few issues in the college such as regular presence of faculty in the classroom, labs, conduction of exam etc was not systematic and timely. In sum up I can say that it was a great experience in my college in three years, miss them even now. feeling very light while writing all these things about my past after a long time. Thanks for such a wonderful idea.

Entrance Preview

To take admission for this course, I need not to pass any entrance exam since admission was merit base and as my percentage was good in intermediate so I topped the merit list of the college, so I selecte easily for the course. I choose B.Sc (Physics) since I want to choose either teaching or research field such as B.A.R.C, Mumbai etc. This course has plenty of scope for both.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

This is of three year duration course every year one has to get min of 33% marks to through in next year. In the end of the course your percentage will be the average of all three years marks. So, if one want to compete anywhere or take admission in postgraduate course, he should have at least 60% to qualify. Fortunately, I got. Course having theory & practical classes both. Except one or two, no professor/faculty take genuine interest in delivering lecture in a interesting way. Also for practical, experiments are to perform with own understanding & hard work. They are only providing facilities.

Internships Opportunities

There was no internship in my course/college. But during this period I face interview for different posts in the field of research/teaching but could not succeeded but that time I run tuition classes for the students with Physics and Maths as subjects.

Placement Experience

2.5

There was no campus interview type of thing in my college. As I have mentioned earlier, Placement chances are very tough and few that time and now-a-days as well, especially in the field of teaching & research in reputed colleges/schools and research institution. But it is there. I am giving tuitions to brush up my teaching skills & update, refresh my knowledge. I tried giving giving interview for a post of scientists in B.A.R.C, Mumbai where I will get a 50-60k/month salary.

College Events

4

There are festivals on the occasion of 15th August, 26th Jan, also on the occasion of Holi, Diwali etc. Students take parts with great enthusiasm. Some are busy with preparations/arrangements, some with cultural programme, some delivering speeches, some as organiser etc. I used to deliver speech on these occasions, and mind you it is tough one to select for speech. Since I was a science student, and Art students are considered much better performer in these fields.

Fees and Financial Aid

If one qualify for NET/GATE exam, he can avail scholarship to continue his studies but I could not. I had not taken any loan/ scholarship for this course. What ever was the expenses I cover with my tuitions classes. At the time of admission, my parents provide me monetary help & they are always ready for that.

Campus Life

4

There was no campus in the college. The gender ratio was around 65 boys to 35 girls. In the field of science girls are far more studious & serious rather boys. There were so much extra curricular activities such as sports, gym, club type etc. We were a part of college cricket team and use to play matches for inter college tournaments of crickets. There were equal participation of girls in every activity of the college whether it is study related, sports or some other. The college was a great building around more than 200 rooms with 15-20 labs for different streams such as physics, chemistry, biology etc. There were no casteism/regionalism like thing we face or ever come to know during our study time.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

There was no Hostel facility or PG trend in the college campus/from college side or in Modinagar city. Students from distance are to take rental rooms on sharing basis to complete study. I was also with two of my friends in sharing 2 room flat in Maninagar and have to pay 1500/month for that flat. No PGs are available in Modinagar for Boys. We go to college & do our part time jobs from there, to meet our expenses.

Alumni/Alumna

As I have mentioned earlier that support from professors/faculties were a bit only they used to provide us facilities. We were very much depended on our senior students. They bother us only few days in the start of college days by taking interview, asking to sing a song, to do different funny activities in the class before all the students. But that was in the limits and for 10-15 days only. They were all very helpful and ready to cooperate us in any situation whether it is study, sports, any function of the college they treat us like their younger brothers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

According to me you should choose Brahmanand College but as I wanted more practicals then theory work but it is not like that here because you get more time to study and practicals were less .Exams' timings were sometimes morning, afternoon so you will have to manage yourself accordingly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd rate the curriculum 4/5. Topics like programing and data structures are super relevant.it prepares us for tech roles, but could include more hands on projects and industry tools. More focus on emerging tech like Ai /ML would be awesome. Exams are semester wise and okay.areas for improvement: internships, coding challenges, and guest lectures from pros. Solid foundation overall !

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the faculty teachers and all the staff was very good and the faculty teachers of the science were very fabulous in education causes me to choose this course... The curriculum here was in terms of social interaction was ok but it was not that good for the future real world academic pursuits as their were not that much activities for the social appearance... In terms of course curriculum and teaching method this college doesn't need much improvements because it is much better according to teaching method , as the teachers were good in terms of teaching... The timing and frequency was having much gap between one semester exam and the other semester exam , so there were not much difficulty in giving exams according to my perspective...
