Remarks

I have just wasted my four years there. If I choosed other colleges instead of that college, probably my present will be according to me. due to lack of many things, thanks to my college, My present is not according to me. I have just spent four years there because of my degree and there was no option left otherwise I could have done better things in my life.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

My branch of engineering is mechanical and the course is according to AICTE, talking about labs and exams, there was no sufficient machines for the practical knowledge, we were good in theoretical knowledge but the practical knowledge is poor due to lack of machines.

Placement Experience

0.5

The college placement for the job and internship was zero and not a single company came for the interviews, after my graduation, one company came but that was not even technical, so there was no point to sit in that interview. They can easily call army for the interviews but they did not, I don't know why.

College Events

2

Yes, there was extra curricular activities like sports and other competitions. They send their teams of different sports to compete with other colleges. Annual function event held for two days, that was not big enough but it was good.

Fee Structure And Facilities

According to me, the fees is little bit high because they are not providing quality knowledge for the fees they are charging. My fee was 30000 per semester and other small fees for the semester examination fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college did not provide any loan facilities or any scholarship, students have to manage all that things. There was a scholarship from the government but I was not full filling the criteria, I saw my friends to do hectic things for the scholarship, the process was bery lengthy and a small mistake could cancel their scholarship.

Campus Life

2.5

There were no cultural societies in our college. Sports facility were managed by students, teachers were just to sit watch the students to saw how things are going, no suggestions, no support. Library were there but there were no quality study material present, also they charge unnecessary amount if you got late for the submission of the book.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, some of seniors are helpful, if someone is interested in sports, contact seniors because everything is managed by them, no role of teachers. But the thing is, give and take theory was there, there is no help if you do not have anything to give. I was the one who doesn't have something to give so I was not able to participate in any of the functions.

Admission

I gave RPET exam which is a state level exam and after a counselling, I got this college for my engineering. All I need to report there for the admission. Also there were two counselling, if you are not satisfied with the first one, you can choose for second counselling just like I did.

Faculty

0.5

Most of the faculty was guest faculty, the permanent faculty hardly take lectures, the guest faculty was not experienced enough to teach us so it become very hard to clear the course. There was no fix teachers for particular subject, they taught us according to their mood.

Placements in my collage are not very strong. A few companies visit, but the number is limited and the offer are also not very high . The average package is on the lower side and only a small number of students get placed through the campus. After completing my degree my plans is to continue improving my technical skills and apply for jobs outside the campus where the chances and salary packages are better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In the year 2014 & 2015, there was a huge scope for people in Computer Science Engineering. There were unlimted number of possibilities for a B.tech graduate at that time. This is why, I chose B.tech Computer Science course. The curriculum will help you to deal with the exams. If you are giving graduate level exams, you will be well guided for it by the faculty. There are no smart classes or good practicals examiner which we call lab technicians which causes everyone a havoc in the labs area. The midterms are the first monthly based exams that you'll need to give in order to pass your academics. After that, Practicals and then written exams.

IIIT Kota was initially running at the MNIT Jaipur which is under top 10 nits. IIIT Kota's placements faced a drastic decrement in placement percentage from 92% in 2021 to 74% in 2024, because the campus had shifted to kota in 2021. In 2023-2024 the number of offers was 140 and eligible students were 162, the higest package was of 65 lakh and avg was 13.09. Companies such as yamaha, jio, oyo, infosys, microsoft, samsung sds, amazon capegimini etc visits. Student not only dependent on on- campus, but should also be in touch of off-campanies, and in good approach with their senior. I will frequently keep applying for job interviews.
