Remarks
The College is situated in a main area where it is situated among other subsidaries of AVC group of Colleges. It consist of polytechnic, arts & science and engineering. There are restaurants, stationary, xerox and foodstuff shops available around the College.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is better here as the College had the curriculum of Anna university affiliated. Each semester had 6 daily tests, 3 monthly tests, a model exam and the semester exam. The same pattern was followed for the remaining 8 semesters.
Placement Experience
The job opportunities are nothing less than vast. The companies varies from MNCs like Infosys, TCS and HCL to other small industries, startups and consultancies. The CTC ranges from 1 lakh to 3 lakhs.
College Events
The festives include the pongal celebration in a great manner and the celebration lasts for two days. Our College also conducts technical events like Technothirst every year. They also conduct sports meet and annual day every year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is feasible compared to other private Colleges. Students of general and BC quota are fared 70k for academics if management and 15k for academics if merit. Students of SC and ST are not fared any fees based on their previous avademics.
Fees and Financial Aid
The College is a subsidiary of Indian bank. The College offers you loan through indian bank if the proper documents are provided by the students. The loan type is study loan and the students are allowed to clear the debts after the completion of studies.
Campus Life
The College has a seperate room for indoor games and gym. It has a basket ball court and ground facility for cricket and football. It has a cultural society. It also has a unified cricket team. There is special funding for sports.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni visits the College often to provide orientation on placements and the experiences they had on site. They also share their knowledge on field and helps the juniors to pursue a better career options.
Admission
I was in situation that I have to study in my hometown itself as my parents were not okay with me moving out of town. So compared to other Colleges in town AVC was considered the better one with more than 25 years of reputation. I completed my high school graduation in a CBSE school so as out results were lately published compared to state syllabus results. So I joined the College admission at final days and was selected in management quota.
Faculty
The faculties that are available are all of PG and Phd. holders with well versed communication and technical skills. Majority of the teaching staffs are of age between 30 and 45. They are all well dressed and behaved. They maintain a easy and friendly relationship with students out of curriculum.
