My college

Our college management is a good one. They are giving good quality of education in affordable cost. Also they permit us to participate in various co curricular and extra curricular activities. My thing is the management should improve the infrastructure and canteen. So many students and faculty members are coming from outside. The food in canteen is not sufficient that should be improved. A cultural event should be conducted in a grand manner to entertain students.

Course curriculum is good. But the exam structure should be changed. The internal marks is provided by conducting cycle tests, by providing assignments and by conducting class tests. My thought is internal marks are also be given by observing the students based on their talent, interest on co curricular and extra curricular activities. My college is providing some industrial colobration and many companies are coming for on campus interviews.

The companies visited are Infosys, TCS, Infotech, Zoho and so on. The companies need a engineer not an engineering graduate. Our college is having a placement cell and each department having a member in it. Thay are doing so many personality development programs and aptitude for the students to equip themselves to attend interviews. I think major companies wants No, arrear in current and some companies recruit the students who are not having the history of arrears. Some companies recruit the arrear students too.

I am a part of our college's fine arts Club. I'm every function we perform in front of students and chief guests. Every year we celebrate technical event called "Technothirst". The students from various colleges will attend the event and we will conduct technical games to entertain them. From last year we are conducting a technical event for polytechnic students too. Every year pongal function will be celebrated In a grand manner. I am a mridangam artist and classical vocal singer. I will give my performance. All students will enjoy.

I have joined the college in management quota. Because my father is not interested In applying for anna university rank list. So we paid donation and the government anNo,unced fees. My fees is 80, 000 per year. For government quota students I think the fees is 40, 000 per year. For me it's a No,rmal fees because so many colleges are having more fees structures. Mostly we are having cash payment. Last year our college introduced online payment.

Our college is giving more scholarships for the students. Especially, if a student from a family is first graduate, the government is providing schemes to the students. Indian government is giving scholarships to the students of army staff's children. Also some volunteery organisations giving scholarships to the students.

Our college has both men ane women in approximately equal ratio. Our college is giving opportunity to participate in cultural and sports competition held outside within the state and country too. Our college's physical education director Dr. Muthukumaran sir giving excellent training to the students. Our college has cricket, football, volleyball, basketball teams. My friend Vishal kumaran played many cricket matches and won in lot of it. Me and a team went for a cultural competition at Poondi pushpam college. I won first place in classical vocal. Mr. Gabriel won second place in percussion instrument playing and also our college won third place in mimicry.

No, I am not in hostel as my house is near to the college. I will go to college by bike. My friend is in hostel he said that the food is normal and the rooms are also No,rmal. That should be made more effectively.

We are having contact with our college alumni students. Every year our college will conduct alumni association meet. Many alumni will participate in it and they will share the current trend on industries and their experiences. In addition to that our department will organize alumni interactive programs.

I selected computer science because I have some interest and my parents wants me to study. This college is near my home so it is easy to go. I got admission thourough management quota. I am interested in music but my parents asked me to study engineering. So that I equipped myself to engineering.

My HOD name is Dr. S. Padmapriya mam. She is very good human being. For my knowledge he is my god. She treats the student as her own children. She clarifies our doubts in a friendly manner. She did ME in computer science and PhD. Another associate professor is Dr. K. Krishnakumari mam. She is having more experience in teaching. She also clarifies the doubts very easily. Now too she introduced the online class to the students who are at home due to corona virus as a first. Our department has signed a bond with infotech company and some students are working in our college itself. Our college alloted a separate lab for that.
